- Doom Slayer makes his way into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but as a Mii Fighter Costume. Also, the Octoling (wig) and Judd (hat) also make it. The Mii Fighters Costumes will be available October 18th, 2021.

I love how doom made it into smash. What makes it even better is to think that it is one of those action figures you grab in 2016, and they are just as violent as the slayer. Plus, bowser as a baron of hell is hilarious.

Technically, the Doom Slayer mii costume is from Doom Eternal, not 2016.
I think they should at least put the soundtracks in game for Doom Slayer, that'll be dope and also a dedicated level, like one on Mars or Necropolis from Doom's 2016 design

@@liamdalemon1525 They literally cant, they don’t own the music. Mick Gordon owns the songs, and they probably didn’t want to go thru all that trouble just for a skin. Mick Gordon does not work with bethesda or ID software anymore so he would barely even benefit from having his songs with them.
I wanted the Slayer to be in Mortal Kombat but got him in Smash instead. Better than nothing.

Doom Slayer is the only character that is way too bloody for Mortal Kombat, + he would not make it into multiplayer, only vs bot because the devs know he will be way too op no matter how much it gets nerfed

The Slayer was my guy for Season Two, but I'm not even mad. I respect the roster choices made, and I'm glad he got the full monty Mii costume that basically makes him an SD inclusion, like Cuphead and Sans, as opposed to the likes of Shante who's just a bedlah outfit and hair.
Plus, it's the Eternal model, so aside from being a kino decision, we get the itty bitty exposed pythons. It's like you're playing as one of the collectible figures from the game, and those were amazing.
Look I may be disappointed that doom slayer isn't a full character, but at least he is in the game in some form. I'm satisfied

You are correct honestly. Sure he isn't a true fighter for Smash, but I am happy that he is represented in the game in some form. So I am glad I can have as a mii fighter, it's not much, but it's something.

Y’know what’s funny? Other than sans and cuphead, my reveal was the closest to a character reveal that any mii has ever been. Actual camera work, clever plays on my home series, beating up mario, I’ve got it all.
They couldnt even bother with making him a FULL character... its just a fucking gunner. Like if his moves were thr crucible, blood punch, and super shotgun, with his final smash being the BFG 9000, that would be perfect
