- Isabelle from Animal Crossing was enjoying a lovely day out with Kirby, Yoshi, the Ice Climbers, Pichu from Pokemon and Inkling Girl of Splatoon… until Bowser, Wario, Ganondorf and a host of other rapscallions showed up. This lot didn’t realise that wreaking havoc on the world of Super Smash Bros Ultimate would result in a new challenger approaching, though. A challenger with a proclivity for ripping and also tearing. At long last, the Doom Slayer has arrived for some beautifully gory Doom vs Smash Bros action!
We realise Smash Bros Ultimate isn’t the friendliest of places at the best of times, but Isabelle and her pals were minding their own business when villainous villains like King K Rool and Wolf from Star Fox started acting all villainy to the cuter Nintendo characters. Doomguy / Doomslayer / Doom Guy - call him whatever you like - is not going to stand idly by and watch this injustice! He’s been resting up since the end of Doom Eternal anyway, so even if the fight is Doom Slayer vs LOADS OF OTHER FOLKS, you know he likes those odds.

It’s been semi confirmed by both game creators. Not nescessarily that they are actual friends (although I imagine they aren’t against it) but that at least both characters play the others game

This animation actually gives the doomslayer a usable moveset, of course Nintendo would change some things, but I could see some of these move actually being in smash

Bro… doom slayer and Isabelle’s friendship is hilarious. The dynamic is so funny, like Isabelle is the only one who can make fun of him without consequences, and they both always help each other, even though doom guys entire premise is that he works alone and no one tells him what to do. And also he’s incredibly hardcore, whereas Isabelle is the opposite.
Well mostly likely he looks at her as a friend....... I mean it's cannon way before he became the doom slayer. He started out as doom guy... and started going into full rage mode after his pet bunny was murdered... essentially he's like the John wick of hell

Honestly, ignoring some of the obvious brutality, I feel like this would be a pretty cool setup for an actual reveal. Normally cute or harmless characters getting terrorized by bad guys but are saved by the new character is something that sounds like it would actually be in a smash trailer.

I love how quickly they change their attitude seeing Doomslayer. He literally walks out of hell and is terrifying. Until he gets cussed out by Isabelle. So how tough can he really be?
Then when two of them were about to hurt Isabelle and doom slayer just brutally kills both of them they quickly change their attitude again so it was fear then confusing then laughing and annoyed/disappointed at the guy that’s been getting yelled by a small dog but then get terrified 10 times more when said guy brutally kills two of them and said dog says the words rip and tear until it is done and finally the fear like One of red vs blue episodes it goes too 11

I've watched this so many times now and honestly it's everything I've always wanted in a Doomslayer smash reveal, but the thing that makes me grin every single time is still the simple act of Doomslayer pointing to the demon skull like a child saying "he started it."

from what ive heard,after the game was finished,all the dlc fighters were added by nintendo higher ups,i feel sakeri probly would have put him in the game if he had the choice too,but im unsure tho,but sense hes a mii costume there is a chance of them becoming a offical fighter in the next game if there is one becuse usally thats how mii costumes work somtimes,they become official fighters in the next instalment so heres hoping

I love the references to the different kill animations in Doom Eternal, like when the Doom Slayer shoots a sticky bomb in Wario’s mouth to stun him like you can do to Cacodemons, or when he smashes Ryu’s head into his chest and stomps Wario’s head into a bloody paste like he can do when he glory kills certain enemies.

The fact that when the slayer grabbed King k Rool and Ridgley's mouth's you could see the panic in their eyes, just speaks leagues about the energy he brought to that fight.

This is the real reason Doomguy wasn't officially added to Smash--he'd just murder everyone.
To this day, it still warms my heart that the Doom and Animal Crossing communities were totally stoked and supportive of each other just because they shared a launch day.
Isabelle's Final Smash should have been summoning Doom Slayer, just saying.
A lot of gamers get a bad image because of the few toxic ones, I found most are friendly and supportive of others taste in gaming. I believe the fact that both communities embraced this supports my statement

Around Doom Guy, there are two things you do not do if you want to live. The first is mess around with demons, Hell, or demonic or hellish entities. The second is hurting cute, fuzzy animals.
Seriously, DG only became the Bane of Hell itself because demons killed his pet rabbit, Daisy, and he decided he couldn't allow anyone else to have to endure the same.

To their credit...this IS a pretty badass ensemble of some of video gaming's greatest villains. They just happened to bump into the one dude who's on an ENTIRELY different level at the worst possible time. Isabelle just went through an emotional roller coaster of a day.
