Is the shiro (powder) hard to prepare from scratch? For my first time making this dish, I’m wondering if I should buy the shiro from a local market or try to prepare it from scratch
In all honesty I’ve never prepared shiro powder from scratch. For the first time I would recommend a local market. I know the process of making the powder is definitely a labor of love!
Thanks for your 2 cents! I went and bought some yesterday from a local market so I could make the whole dish
How long did it take to make this?
Approximately 30 minutes
@01:20 Did you called shirk ‘that shiit’
🤣 I said that’s what it should look like
Can you use onion powder?
Honestly I’ve never tried it with onion powder. I’m not sure it would have the same effect as real onions.
@@yoditstablehi how mekinge shiro pawoder
Is this jalapeño or Serrano peppers?
They’re Jalepeños
I’m more of an Expert at eating than cooking but haven’t made shirk in a good minute and was pausing and following all ur steps...Smh @2:32. Almost died at de accuracy. Was reluctantly flipped and u guessed it there was some silsi on the back of it🤭. Awesome tutorial doe 🖐🏾💪🏽💪🏽
Pues yo aprendí a serlo más fácil 😅 paso por el procesador la sebolla el tomate el ajo y lo frío en aceite lo sasono con sal
Luego el agua a punto de ervir mesclo el shiro cosino bien y listo😊
What if the shiro just won’t thicken! Like it keeps bubbling up and not thick enough to eat. It’s just at a liquidy state. Too proud to ask my mom….
My recommendation is to keep adding shiro powder until you almost reach the desired consistency. Note, it will continue to thicken as it keeps cooking. Hope this helps!
Why don’t you speak your own language tho 😂😂😂😂 wey habesha sisletin
