In this video I'll show you how I installed the LED strip lights in my micro camper. This method will work on all Runaway campers, teardrop campers, micro campers, and RVs as long as you have power to plug into.

Man, that’s a clean install. I agree, I don’t like the rope lights strung around the inside. To me just looks cluttered in a small space.
Thank you! Gotta keep it clean and tidy!
Great video! I love the lights..
Thank you! And thanks for watching. Please subscribe.
😄 I have also been using a 4 ft shop light (LED) in my Runaway Camper!
It must be a guy thing.
I recently installed RV lights instead. 😊
Hey, if it works 🤷♂️
Thanks for watching!
Great video! Hoping for more DIY on your camper!
Thanks!
Nice job! 😊
Thank you!
I am going to copy you! The lights look great.
Do it! You'll love it. Thanks for watching!
useful episode. Thank you!
Thanks for watching, Mr Hill!
Sweet
Thanks for watching!
That's funny. We had just looked at doing this using the same type of diffused track covers. Thanks for figuring it out for us first.
Haha, my pleasure! Thanks for watching.
I was planning to add this very thing, now I know exactly the RIGHT way to do it, thanks!!
My pleasure, thanks for watching!
Great vid and sub'd to see more progress on the Runaway. We have a Venturist ready to pick up but the MaxCoupler is on backorder. Hopefully a couple more weeks and we can start our mods.
Thanks for watching! I'll have a bed platform video going live tomorrow night!
@@grubbyssmokeshack Looking forward to this as we are discussing options for bed platform setups. East and west but being 6'3" this may prove to be a problem for us. We are thinking going with an "L" shape platform to allow for a little floor space for the puppers and allow me to stretch fully out.
@@donnyshaw6154 that's not a bad idea. I'm just under 6 foot and I wish I had more room to stretch out. I usually sleep curled up a little so sleeping isn't a problem but I want to unfold when relaxing.
@@grubbyssmokeshack Well then you have solved my question then, lol. I think the "L" shape will suit our situation best.
Nice job! Looks clean and professional.
Thanks, I appreciate that!
Great video. It gives me more options for my lighting. Does the lights get hot inside the plastic tubing? Thanks.
It doesn't feel hot to the touch but since I added so many more light strands than what originally came in one set, I think the wiring may get hot, they start blinking when at full brightness for an extended period of time. If you lower the brightness one level it stops.
How do u power the lights
Shore power. Or sometimes I use a battery bank.
So 120 back to 12v
@@poolman3939 these lights plug into a standard wall plug. Our camper has a power strip in it for the air conditioner, phones, whatever else. Sometimes I plug that power strip into my battery bank instead of shore power.
Thank You. Awesome job on the lights
@@poolman3939 thank you, I really appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
