Shame you didn't follow for some more north in Pankow. Not far from Wollankstrasse, hidden in the trees, a forgotten part of the wall was discovered not long ago.
Excellent video - loving your videos on Berlin my favourite city. I visit the DDR for a day on my first visit! I was at the Mall of Berlin with my daughter last week. I never realized it was so close to the wall.
3:30 The cobblestones trace the border which is where the physical wall sat that almost touched West German territory. There was generally nothing on the West German side hence all the graffiti on that side. The no man’s land only existed on the DDR side.
A section of the Berlin Wall passed through where the Mall of Berlin is now near the former location of of the Reich Chancellery as you can see from the photo at 13:38 you can see the line on the floor of the mall at 14:35

I was there when the wall was built. Thanks for the memories of that time.👍

One must remember that GDR territory extended a few metres beyond the actual wall on the western side.
Which is why the West Berlin authorities could do little about the famous graffiti on their side of the wall.

Seems rather apt that you happened to cycle on the day of the extinction rebellion demo.
It was purely coincidental!
Checkpoint Charlie: KFC one side, Maccas the other, ah Chicken McNasties and the wonders of capitalism!
Really interesting to see this.
How long did it take you? I’m planning to do the whole loop on a Brompton over three days. Hopefully the bike paths are fairly smooth.
About 7-8 hours but with a lot of stopping and sightseeing!
I would've liked this if it wasn't for the awful needless music.
But I did like your commentary.
