    Oh Katie, I remember being in your state of mind right after the birth, before that I was nesting and preparing and this anxiety attacked me after we were home with our boy. And all I can say about that is that you need to prepare for not being prepared for anything. Babies are little cute aliens that confuse our whole world but make it perfect at the same time. You will need to slow down just a little bit after your boy comes, simply because you will get yourself,Ryan and all routines you have back in some sort of schedule faster that way. Good luck! ❤❤

    I loved this vlog so much. I cannot thank you enough for being so vulnerable with us. I know it takes a lot of courage to do that. Vlogs like this make me feel less alone when I have those rare anxious moments

    You are so beautiful. Take it easy and enjoy your new baby. You can never get that time back. That’s all that matters. Thank you for being so open and sharing so much about yourself.

    Coffee grounds for body scrub and for the garden. You are so prepared for your new journey. You have such a great teamlsf now, let them take the reins a bit so you, Ryan & LBD have the best start. PS just don’t blink as they grow way too fast! My baby just turned 40 this year and my grandbabies are now 12, 12 & 10. What happened!!!!!!

    As for the coffee grinds i usually keep on hand an empty jar or can preferably with lid. Like empty jar of olives or empty jar of saurkraut. The moisture from coffee grounds if thrown out as is in garbage will either melt garbage bag or cause a leak. Hope it helps.

    You better relax now and sleep because once baby comes you’re not going to sleep. And believe me, once you’re sleep deprived (and it doesn’t take long 1-2 days) you won’t even recognize your own self inside and out. My advice, DO NOT, try to bounce back to “normal life” asap like I did. I’m being dead serious, feed yourself as you will be starving from nursing, feed your baby, put your feet up, and relax as much as possible. Nursing a newborn, pretty much takes all your efforts and time. This time is fleeting, we’re talking 3-6 weeks, just clear your schedule, order door dash, don’t try to bounce back, get a housekeeper, get someone to cook and do laundry, you’re going to be busy feeding eating and feeding baby, and changing. Also, I’m going to save you a ton of time and money, for your pelvic floor after baby, all you need is to rebound on a trampoline, only after you get cleared by doctor. I’m telling you people say they can’t trampoline because they will pee. Once you do it daily (3-10 min or more) you won’t have that peeing issue. If you don’t do it for awhile your pelvic floor becomes weak and you might have that urge if you sneeze or something with full bladder.

    Idk who needs to hear this but…Life as an adult can be very stressful. Trying to figure out if rather should you go left or right , and all these other things…but I want you to understand this.TAKE YOUR TIME❤. Ik they say time wait or no one and that true but never drive yourself to a point of a burn out or anything that will makes you feel anxiety when you think about it. Make a simple plan for yourself and do what’s best for you. ❤

    I don’t know how much of your income comes from UA-cam, but we are going to watch absolutely anything you put on here. I can’t wait for baby day in the life videos. You are going to rock motherhood. I hope we get to meet him. I understand if you choose not to show him, though.
    Put the coffee grounds in the garden! You can bury them a little or just sprinkle on top of the bed.

    ENJOY YOUR BABY. Do not feel the need to rush, to get things “done”, just lay with your baby and smell his head. For real. It flies by. Nothing else matters.

    Please give yourself grace once the baby arrives. Every mother and child relationship is unique, and while you will do great, it will be hard ❤️. Check out Dr Becky and Anna Mathur if you haven’t already.

    You are going to put your baby in his room after only a few weeks ? Katie please don’t be one of those mums who lets a text book study take away from natural, maternal instincts. Babies should be in your room for a minimum of 6 months. I’m not sure how it’s become normal to seperate a child from its mother so young. Trust me once baby is here you will want to keep baby in your room for as long as possible. No one wants to get up and walk to the other room every time your feeling anxious, to check if he’s ok or to feed every 1-2 hours. They cry and need their pacifier or they might have wind, colic or reflux and you need to get up and check them, change them, clean up vomit or a blow out, administer medicines ect 😳 it’s so much easier to lean across your bed and check he is ok. Have a caddy next to your bed with all colic medicines, dummies. Wipes, nappies, spare clothes and sheets. When you are sleep deprived you won’t be walking to their room to change them, you will just change them on your bed. Have a hamper for all dirty linen and clothes because you will go through several outfits and sheets through the night when they are little. Milk leaking, baby throw up ect. You will have an unconditional bond and you won’t want to be separated. You will want to be able to see their every move to ensure they are safe, by your side. It’s a beautiful experience and don’t let science or silly studies take that away from you. Trust your instincts, not research.

    • @LoveSweatFitness
      @LoveSweatFitness  Рік тому

      I’m going to do what feels best to me and what the research and professionals say will be best for him. Our house isn’t massive, so him being a room away is totally fine. It also creates healthy attachment for me and for him. I really believe too many parents get anxiety and attachment issues because they create a world where they can’t be apart from there child. That’s fine if someone wants to do that, but important for me to do it differently.

    Luv your channel I hope you stay true to your self even after baby! I tend to look down on these women who use their baby in their videos I feel it is so violating and intrusive because that baby has really no choice or control.

      Ty! I'm sure he will be in some videos like vlogs, etc. But my main focus for all my channels is going to be helping women reach their health/fitness goals!
