      Forreal man, the world has now embraced/brainwashed hip hop towards the younger generation. Nothing totally wrong with that because the youth is the future, I'm even apart of the youth because I'm 24 but the older artists have a lot of knowledge that the youngans don't. The more to be said about this.

    My interperetation of the God Box has changed over the years since I heard the phrase when this album came to my consciousness. As I'm now in recovery from addiction, I've come to hear of a new concept of the God Box. When I let all the issues of the world get me down, I tend to get frustrated and turn to self destructive behaviours, whether its drugs, or thinking in a paranoid polarized and adversarial way. I've recently heard of a concept of a God Box, where you take all of these daunting world issues and moral frustrations, and put them into a box that you give it to God. Its not our responsibility to change every last problem in the world. We can only focus on our immediate surroundings and things that we have the ability to control and influence. The God Box is liberation from carrying the world on your shoulders, and the focus on living wholesomely for yourself, and doing justice by your peers and immediate surroundings.

I've shared seemingly many similar experiences and have always been a true fan of your music. Through your invigorating words I also now say I also consider you to be a champion for our people and an admirable friend. I am certainly going to continue to follow your future endeavors and would like to thank you for your inspirational support in the plight of freedom and liberation for all of the indigenous peoples of the world. May Allah continue to bless your path and provide peace along with continued success. Brother Rock, we love you, and please keep doing what you do! I personally commend Umar Johnson for setting out to build a school to educate young black boys. I wish Oprah, Denzel and others would help him instead of running across the continent to Africa to help children. Help the ones in your own back yard first. THEN extend yourself to others. Of course people will do with their money as they see fit though. Ijs. Black males are being hunted and they need direction, NOW.

    • @lynnw2953
      @lynnw2953 8 років тому

      yes, build the school for the boys while the black girls, still go to the other schools? uh... okay.

    • @CelestialGatez
      @CelestialGatez 8 років тому

      +Rudy C I didn't hear nare' a complaint when Oprah built her school for girls. Besides, a properly educated male child grows to be a strong pillar for not only his nation but his woman and family. And as it stands it is the BLACK MALES who are being targeted and hunted - not the female. The enemy understands the importance of killing off the black male. History will show you it is the MALE that must be destroyed. We have to start somewhere. Once we have become empowered we can easily take care of our girls and women. But the pillar must be established first.

    • @lynnw2953
      @lynnw2953 8 років тому

      "y'all go ahead and then once we get straight, we'll come back for you." do you really think that's the move?
      what the enemy understands more than MOST things is DIVISION amongst our people.
      if you truly believe that educating OURSELVES amongst OURSELVES is a key to black liberation [which i do as well], why in the hell are you leaving soldiers behind? yes nigga, SOLDIERS.
      you know.
      the ones that are ON THE FUCKING FRONTLINES with y'all black asses when it comes time to speaking and standing up for US.
      kids spend 8 HOURS A DAY, 5 DAYS A WEEK at school. what would it cost to keep black children together that separating them by gender wouldn't? you really gotta lay off this "we gone keep this thing traditional, i'm the man so imma go first and women just wait here." it's illogical, emotional and NOT a "leadership" move.

    I feel so compelled to be connected to him on a personal level. From the first moment I laid my eyes on him years ago till now... He has always intrigued me internally and externally... I could converse with him endlessly... I want to know the soul of this captivating human being. His energy, his voice, his aura, his spirit humbles my heart and makes it skip a beat at the same time ... I am forever grateful for all that he does. I feel like I am the female version of him. (Not in such a public way though) I swear we are on the same cosmic wave lengths. I feel a strong connection to him. Not in a fatal attraction type of way😆But in a genuinely serious way...
