Tip: Start checking nearby County fairgrounds for RV spaces. Usually free for evacuees
It's REALLY important to get out if there is a hint a hurricane may be coming. MY friend, fortunately survived but the roads were blocked with traffic and unable to leave before the winds got too strong and she had to hunker down in her house. scared. If you can't get gas and water before you leave, you can get it when you arrive in a safe zone too- You can't waste time going from store to store. Consider using only 1 prop tank and keeping the 2nd for this kind of emergency run. Always have 1/2 tank of gas or more. We live in fire zone and most of us have at least minimal precautions.

It’s a good thing you left early. You were smart to do so. I’ve been through many hurricanes and you just pick up and go. I always had evacuation totes ready.
After the fact now from Milton Florida won’t be the same or return to somewhat normal for along time.
At least full time you can take everything with you.

That track was not heading to SC.At least not Milton.
We evacuated from our campground up near Daytona Beach and found out a little while ago it’s under 3 feet of water… They are estimating at least 7 days before cleanup can start and power can be restored.
Stay safe. I don't live anywhere near Florida. Even stick built buildings are not safe in a hurricane or a tornado, let alone RV's and Tiny Houses on wheels. Now would be a good time to go West of the Rockies.
Hopefully everyone pulls thru. Have some friends at TTO and did ok. Best advice, go west during Hurricane season.

Is this a video from 2022 when Ian went thru there and you are showing it because of Milton coming thru? I myself would not stay anywhere a hurricane had a possibility of hitting. People that do it and have never been thru one usually wont try it again!

Fires and earthquakes are worse. You never know when those are going to hit. Especially an earthquake and when you get hit with a bad one… you will not know until devastation like Florida.
Every state has something. It’s not if… it’s when. California is due for major earthquakes and you have fires and your prices are outrageous! Sorry but you state sucks!
My grandson was one in South Carolina from North Carolina. After they going send Florida. He so dangerous work .he take care loves his family why he does it .linemen job is dangerous .
