Great!!! There is a lot to explore in this state and close by states... have fun and be safe and I encourage you to REPEAT any trip you see on this channel... the boat ramp info is always in the written video description! thanks for the great comment!
Another excellent video Bob. I love when people discover and show the natural beauty our state provides - there’s a lot more here than just a mouse and a castle. Okay - so, we natives call those things sand boils, although pretty much of the country calls them water boils (which to me makes them sound like they’d be really hot and boiling which they aren’t). I know you’ve been to Silver Glen a couple of times - if you walk the nature trail, or just swim-walk up the little stream upstream from the springs, you’ll see a ton of those things - nowadays, it’s all fenced off on the trail, but when I was there, myself and everyone else just hopped the little fence to play in the sand boils (used to be no fence). Here’s interesting trivia that I had to teach my new-to-Florida friends and girlfriends every time we’d visit sand boils (you probably know this). You can climb in, but no matter how tall you are, how long your legs are, etc. - you’ll only sink up to your waste which, I’m told, is the same as quicksand - you don’t sink down over your head like in the movies where only your hat is left floating to tell people of your demise (I think that was also a “Gillian’s Island” episode as well). Take care Bob and thanks for another video episode.
@@InCaveEntertainment Hahahahahahhaha... As you know I just stuck by hand in and I HAVE thought about going back and experimenting further... I did a Facebook reel on the video snippet and it has over 500K views... it probably would have been funnier to have the last thing seen is my hat floating on the water vent as you mention. But I never stage stuff...it is just how it happens.... I will take resp for a slight click bait hook with the word Quicksand in the thumbnail, but who does not like a little quicksand in their life! hahahhaha. I appreciate your knowledgeable comments and thanks for watching as always... I am glad we stopped there as the water levels on the Santa Fe and Inche. were too low to do total exploration.
Nice way to vicariously witness another great adventure for you on a very cold, windy morning here in New England. Loved the reflections of the bridges in the calm water. Biked here earlier. Snow flurries with 25-30 mph wind gusts. Thanks for the share!
Excellent video!!! I'm only a couple of hours short of completing the break-in on my ski. The weather is warming up on the FL/GA line. Let us know when you'll be doing a ride in north Florida and we'll join you.
@@InCaveEntertainment your mention of St George’s Island interest me after looking it up… is it jet ski friendly and what would be a worthy trip to explore the island ? A circumnavigation?
I can't believe you've never been on the Sante Fe. You have to go to Ginnie, Dogwood and Blue Springs, but watch out for the rocks just past hwy 47. Coming from the West)
Nope never ad maybe never again.... lol.... found the source for the Santa Fe in the previous video on Lake Santa Fe so I thought it was time to finally visit these rivers. I look forward to visiting Ginnie, and the others via kayak or car! hahhahahaha!
Bob, love your videos. I wish I could do same adventures but afraid to do alone. Do you know of groups or forums you recommend to find peeps to join? Alone here ready to jet ski
I think it starts with getting into your local ski scene and find people around you and then out on a couple of skis with different groups or people and then find who you like skiing with and then form a friendship/partnership. You can also post on the FB forums for skiing where you are and plan a trip and ask for folks to join you. All of my trips give all the information needed to be repeated. Bob
Thanks and thank you for the videos! Just found your Wordpress site. Can’t help but laugh as I too have done motorcycles, gone to Deals Gap (many times) and now moving into jet skis.
@@scottmcdaniel6468 yeah I had a friend who lives in TN stop by to see me after attending a BMW motorcycle rally about 100 miles away. As he pulled into my garage on his RT I had a momentary twinge to get back on a motorcycle. A ski is very similar for me and maybe just maybe a bit safer… maybe… 😳😎

I send crazy text messages to my buddies often by accident due to not proofreading before sending. I didn't have the closed capptions on. Just heard it then double checked using close captions. Wasn't trying to call you. Was just trying to help you out with info. Enjoyed the video.@@BobBroeking
You've inspired me to get out and explore. Can't wait to get my jetski to start exploring FL. Thanks for making the videos.

Awesome video never have seen water boils before!
I have seen lots of boils but never stuck my hand or my camera in one before... maybe next time I will see how deep they go! :-)
Nice... no real worry about jumping sturgeon in the winter months tho...
Nope those monsters stay in the water in the winter I think!
Happy New Year Bobster
Happy New Year, thanks for still watching in 2023!

Bob, where did you get that white long sleeve Great Lakes shirt that you're wearing I'm from Michigan
Paul: Talk to Loren at Boondockspwc!!!!!!! I think he is going to sell them in 2023....I think I am right about that info!
Tracy had a lil need for speed that day. He was getting on the throttle from the get go.
Tracy always goes fast.... if only he had a ski that was faster than mine.... :-)
great video
