I mean it fits. Since obviously the mask but leprosy, the disease he has for any who may not know what leper came from, causes blindness, more bleeding hence why he has low bleed resist, and damages nerves and the like so you dont feel as much pain also hence why he has high hit points and is a good tank and whatnot

it basically is, in DD 2 the leper will say to the jester "you would have been welcome in my court" if they are friends
There'd be so many cool interactions between the characters like BH and HM talking about the criminal underworld or Crusader and MAA discussing their military campaigns, so many opinions

@@claytonthegrubkiller6430 bounty hunter now got added and he is a mercenary that always stays perfectly neutral with everyone, no matter the stress, so sadly that would not happen. I could see the houndmaster and highwayman having great dialogue though, considering one is a cop and one a criminal. If they were enemies you could have the houndmaster kill an enemy and then tell the highwayman that he's next, and if they're friends they could pretty much have the legolas and gimli shtick of "i never thought i'd die fighting side by side with a cop" "what about side by side with a friend?" "Aye, i could do that" or smth like that. Alternatively i could see the arbalest and hellion having cool dialogue since they're both warrior women with a traumatic past, and of course MAA and arbalest since she could remind him of his soldiers.

Use the Revenge buff until you can get the Accuracy Ring.

Pair him with a jester and use revenge, double damage trinkets and blap everything in one hit - like if you can camp and tigers eye + reflection you'll be pushing 50% crit and 95% accuracy on turn two of combat. Throw a plague doctor in the mix for +50% damage from vapours and you've got the meme. Hitting triple digits suddenly becomes the rule and not the exception. It's honestly my favourite composition and it works in every map - it's just not good for killing the cannon or hag and can go /very/ badly against siren.
Not his fault that his eyes aren't the same.
All of my lepers seem to behave much more formally than yours, in other words they are in a bad living environment leading to their bad performance in battle. In other words and said in a shorter way, give them proper treatment and stuff you're a bad parent.

I like to think that Reynauld is trying to make things work with Dismas after they split up. Dismas told Reyauld how his accidental kill in the past and doesn't deserve his friendship with the Crusader. Reynauld understand his problem and wants to try and give it another chance with him. But Dismas turns him down and pushes him away because he can't forgive himself as much as reynauld would forgive him.

"How silly," - he smiled to himself, watching Jester's odd antics, his attempts at driving the public's attention towards Leper. Of course, it was quite appreciated. The way this silly jokester with his silly song and his silly movements danced around, almost crossing personal boundaries was... Oddly endearing. Leper, while a bit uncomfortable with all this sudden attention could still feel a small spark in his Soul. A tiny and really spark that somehow prevailed despite everything. And every word, every slight gesture made was like a small attempt to light another spark. Whether Jester knew it or not, he was helping, though maybe not in the way he expected. Perhaps the silly little jokester hoped that his friend would smile a bit brighter from a coin or two. Though it was not the fortune that was attractive to Leper. This sincere silly song of the silly Jester to help however he can, and just the sheer devotion to such a dumb, foolish, worthless concept was admirable. Truly admirable! The amount of suffering both endured seemed like nothing for this fleeting moment.
- How silly, - He would mutter, allowing the smile to stretch across his face. And the joker would notice it. He never mentions it, after all, it's probably silly to even think that Leper would ever consider talking to him outside of this. But this small song for him seemed to make him happy the only thing that was visible from under the mask seemed happy. And that's all he needed to feel happy as well.
(Fun fact - I have never played nor seen any playthroughs of Darkest Dungeon, but I already want to. Thank you for the animatic, it's really cool and wholesome. 😮👍 (But from what I looked up and saw - DD itself isn't as happy and cheerful. This will be a fun ride.))

this reminds me of when my jester used solo to dive in front of my deaths door leper and mark himself, got hit into deaths door, got 100 stress and got the courageous virtue, then proceeded to finale the boss to death
In a fierce battle against the ancestor, a lone Leper stands. His party had fallen, at his feet a coin and lute from the Jester who had executed his grand Finale in an attempt to end the battle. The ancestor, chuckling, pulled the Jester's spear from his heart and cast it aside. "How heroic, and such a waste of fine talent. He would have served the Heart well." A tattered glove tightened its grip upon a broken blade, the armored Leper unsteadily rising to his feet. He looked down at what remained of his companion....no.
A weak hand fell upon the lute and clutched it against his armored chest, a warmth, a spark piercing the metal carapace the Leper covered himself with. For so long he thought it was to protect others from his curse, but a soft melody echoed in his mind. "Toss a coin to your Leper~" That night the cold armor was breached by the kindness of his now gone psychopath of a companion. And the Leper let his mask fall.
Decayed eyes for a moment burned bright, the blade broken from neglect sharpened itself in the ailing man's hand, and a bright light and echo the ancestor thought abolished engulfed the warrior before him. "Absolution". The leper stood tall, defiant as he swung the blade, holding it now with both hands. He would not miss this time.
And again the forgotten echo rung in the ancestors mind as the broken metal heaved his body in two, the sharp crack of the Critical strike rippling through the Heart.
"Many fall in the face of chaos. But not this one." The echo rang. And as the image before the ancestors eyes began to fade he heard the Leper proclaim in fury "NOT TODAY!!!!". And the heart fell silent.
Holy fuck I love this. Please write a book man. Would love to read more of this.

Given their backstories, I find this quite wholesome, if only the Jester was spotted by the Leper's court instead and on the night the court planned a coup both fought side by side, that would be some cool fanfic
If it was canon, it could force a gimmick where no jesters would appear in the stagecoach unless you have a leper in the roster. Or just make a town event "Best Fighting Friends" which gives a free jester and leper (like the wyrd council event which gives 2 occultists)
Well... to be fair, he can kill a freaking elder god in one swing if plague doctor make him sniff enough cocaine. So you better toss that coin.

It's darkest dungeon. The Jester buffs your party and reduces stress(a game mechanic) and the Leper is a tanky character that can do the most damage in the game but has the lowest base accuracy in it

It's basically dungeons and dragons meets Lovecraft video game edition.
You should really play it, it can be a bit frustrating but it's fucking great and the narrator is amazing. Quick tip, the classes that start with h are all god tier, and also plague doctor is best waifu.

The jesters is praising what a hero the leper is in their Adventures even though the lepor feels like he doesn't need it but the jester feels like he deserves it because he's not like the last king he worked for because the leper treats the jester with mutual respect.
In the background you see The Highwayman and crusader.I like to think that Reynauld is trying to make things work with Dismas after they split up. Lota of comments about Leper's misses. Dudes, just grind good buffs by using altairs in Water area. Always have a Man of war oe Jester/Doc in party. Buy or find 1/2 floves/helmet artifacts and thats it. Easy.
