- Thrilling Tablet is easily the most broken trinket in the game. For every dead team mate, whoever has the tablet has a bonus 100% health and damage, up to 300%.
Combine that with Reverberating Redoubt, that has a 20% chance to give whoever has it an extra turn if their speed is low, and you can easily 1-shot most enemies. It also damages anyone who hits you.
The end result of putting both of them on a Leper after my team got wiped is basically a raid boss that could have solo'ed the entire game if I wasn't forced to replace my dead team mates.

I'm going to try and produce lots of more content in the future. Lots of horrible IRL stuff has happened since this video was uploaded, and even as I'm writing this I'm recovering from a nasty virus, (Hopefully not COVID), but now that the worst of it is behind me expect video production and quality to go up considerably after a few weeks.

Bruh imagine being that cultist cardinal, having likely survived the slaughter of the cultists in DD1 to then go on and further learn the ways of your cosmic deities and rise through the ranks of your brethren, all the while your body changing into something stronger and more grotesque until you're the giga-beast in 2 that can cast black holes on people and literally drag them to hell.
And then you just end up getting swatted like a fucking fly by a dude with a sword as big as him and leprosy.

Leper is by far my fav Character in DD2.
When I play him as a One-shoting dps, his name is Bonkers, when played as a Tanky front, he became Chonkers.

In DD1 , i had a leper tank the whole team because of his massive 80hp (in DD1 that's alot ngl), had vestal and plague doctor heal him in case he needed. When fighting a boss, on the first round he dealt 0 damage, but on the second round he dealt an absolutely monstrous 90 damage that took 60% of the boss's HP, and on the third round, he blew another 70 damage and killed the boss lmao
All other heroes have "glow ups"

I always knew the leper was an absolute chad the moment I saw his hit animation, instead of flinching or recoiling in fear this man takes its straight to the chest and Carries on like it’s nothing.
one of the symptoms of leprosy is lost sence of pain, he literaly doesnt care, thats what we call a chad, why move when u dont feel it.

The leper is such a chad that once in DD 1 all my team died except him and in the same dungeon he soloed collector+siren.
Absolute fucking unit died later to lack of blood due to crimson curse.

The only time i remember a leper dying in my DD1 campaign was when another leper was stressed out and killed his colleague. Only a Chad can kill a Chad

@@SMT-ks8yp Idk if you've found your answer yet but every time the leper takes damage, he embraces it , unlike every other hero who backs down a little, he goes forward accepting the strike. And when his teammates are starting to get low on hp, he says that they shouldnt be hit, but instead to hit him
Be a chad and don't listen to all the anti-leper propaganda he is the best character and the only one you need.
Bring 2 of them and both the spreading corruption and the spreading stain just say "i ain't dealing with that" and leave

Always said that Leper was the broken character of Darkest Dungeon saga. Here is an other proof. As a chad he carried most of my teams, as a hero he laught to his enemy protecting his companions and said to death's face "You can claim me when you earn me, b***h!*. i did make a memer leper by simply giving him "True Entropy" (random token every turn) and making him very fast (the only time lost in time helped me lol)
in the end he was the only one who lived the whole way:
Sarmenti died rather early
Barristan and Paracelsus both died on the final boss (act 1)
Audrey was the replacement for Sarmenti, in the middle of the final fight she became envious of the leper (fucking hilarious)

Just here to send some love to red hook. Dd2 is such a different feeling game than dd, despite having so many similarities. I really respect the creative boldness to make such a change in direction while keeping the same spirit. Not sure which I prefer tho tbh 🤔

Everyone in darkest dungeon has some done some wrongdoing or has very tragic backstory.
The crusader abandoned his family after not being able to let go of being a warrior.
The man at arms feels extreme guilt from leading his soldiers to death and probably has PTSD.
The leper is just a good king who got a deadly disease and despite it wants to do good, what a chad
It’s the sheer determinism. The man was lying in bed, dying. He’d given up. And then then sheer audacity of the idiots who planed to carve him up and then his kingdom. The lunacy of killing a man who’d be dead so soon. The sheer wrongness of the world. And just like that, he was so goddamn UNACCEPTING of that being the world that he could hold most of the sword again. He really should have died a long time ago now. But the universe decided to let sheer force of will trump reality at the absolute worst time for the cult and now this man who knows, humbly accepts that he will soon die, has a screaming inferno of a soul, bellowing deafingly loud “BUT SINCE IM NOT DOWN YET LETS DO ONE MORE LAST THING”

Went to the Lungs mountain bossfight and team got wiped again and Leper solod after round 2

I got a similar story but its on DD1, i was figthing Sunken Crew with a Vestal, a Mercenary, a Houndmaster and a Lepper, we where going bad, the Lepper got caught and was taking a lot of stress damage, and when he reached a 100 he got virtue and literaly carried the whole fight, refusing the getting captured and obliterating the captain

That may be true until the Leper meets his enemies: Self-producing Blind Tokens (50% chance to miss) unless he has high enough Debuff Resist such as a certain Path, Focused Fault's -25% Healing Received per Limmerance and the eyes Seen Token to generate Stress if he has one or more Tokens, and any Disease producing Blind Tokens besides Rabies.
Don't worry. His chad energy automatically cancels debuffs
@@Cracken_ Press 'X' to Doubt unless you buffed him with Debuff Resist Poultices (and sadly, Focused Fault's Debuff can't be resisted to prevent healing after four Limmerances). Thank also that Red Hook didn't decide to give Enemies damage reflection also (see Vermintide mod for darkest dungeon, especially the barricades!)
