The Diver’s Quartz Medium uses self contained Tritium gas tubes to ensure constant visibility in low light situations, a Tritium gas tube is placed on each hour marker as well as the hour and minute hands. Tritium tubes are self illuminating gas tubes which contain an isotope of hydrogen that does not dull in brightness.

Agree with what you said about the white dial and legibility. For how busy it is, it’s laid out extremely well and easy to read. I have the 41mm version. The tritium is awesome. Always the perfect brightness.

Great video. I’ve been curious about this watch for a long time. You did a excellent job of explaining the size difference. I found the video useful because I was wondering if the 36mm would be too small or feminine. You definitely sold me on the watch. This is a high compliment as I am a very seasoned and picky consumer. Nice work. Curr

Scout The Boxer, Puppies and Goats very happy to hear you’re taking the leap based on my review. It’s fantastic - I shamelessly wish I had both the auto and the quartz so you have one more fun decision to make. Can’t wait to hear how you like it when you get it on wrist. Thanks for watching! Cheers!

I'm a stone mason, looking for a reasonably sized heavy duty field watch.. I was leaning towards the Tudor Ranger, but not crazy about wearing a $4000 watch during hard manual labor.. you've convinced me to check out this Beauty & The Beast of a watch.
    Much appreciated 🙏🏾

Great review! You convince me and I'm glad to have found your video. This brand is bit less popular in Europe but I love it... I firstly wanted to purchase their 39mm GPM automatic! But now I really love this one too even it's more expensive and with a quartz model
    thank you again

It’s an exciting dial for sure, the depth of it alone is worth the price of admission, you get lost in it and yet it’s somehow easy to get in, read the time and get out.

Good review! But I do believe the white dial has a military purpose in extreme bright conditions especially around snow where a black dial is not as visible with high reflections. Not 100% sure though. Love the watch Thks !

Information is wrong. It’s NOT called “arctic” because it’s white, it’s white because it’s designed for dial visibility in bright, snowy conditions, like … in the Arctic. It was designed for The Canadian Rangers.

It’s too small for your wrist. Also, the thickness is not properly proportioned on the 36. You’ve got to at least get 41 if not the 46. Quartz movement is worth about $30, so therefore it’s grossly overpriced. You’ve gotta get automatic when spending this much.
