I just ordered one of these for $250 the other day. Looking forward to it arriving tomorrow.
The yellow ic belt is really amazing, this was the first time In the history of of WWF that they changed out a strap and altered the color.
I thought they did that with Superstar Billy Graham when he was the WWWF champion in the 1970s.
@@Danimal1177Yup, and check out the beauty that Bruno had on a blue strap a bit before the Backlund belt was a thing. WWE has been using colorful straps on and off for a long, long, long time now. I think it's really cool.
The final time that this was seen on WWF television was the weekend of April 7-8, 1990, as Warrior cut a promo for an upcoming(at that time) match against Mr. Perfect, with both the yellow-strap Intercontinental title, which was in his hands, and the WWF World Championship around his waist.
I think it's safe to say that Warrior was the undisputed singles champion for that week in 1990.

Love the yellow strap, its one of my favorite IC versions. If your gonna releather is, I might go slightly darker with the yellow. This seems to be slightly too light of yellow.
I always liked Warrior's Blue IC strap as well as the blue strap for the winged eagle. I remember HBK and a few others used that same colour strap on the IC belt years later during the "New Generation"
Warrior never wore a blue IC. Only Shawn Michaels wore it.
Cheers Paul, this video helped me make up my mind and order this belt, it'll be my first (hopefully of many) replica belt, wrestling fan of over 30 years and this title along with the winged eagle were always on my wish list, only thing is I ordered it from the States instead of the Euroshop as it was 50 euro cheaper, might be waiting awhile unfortunately 😂

The new IC Title that just got released about a month ago is ugly to me, but it is what it is

Great review & I've bought quite a few replicas over the years this is definitely the most quality one.
The issue I have with the new classic models is that they have ton much leather contouring the belts the best look in my opinion is the leather closer maybe 1/4 inch thickness to the plates like the 80's and early 90's models.This puts more enphisis on the plates.

Nice review Paul. Yea man, that yellow strap brings me back to Mania Vl. Lol I just remember thinking since the IC was yellow, that was the sign Hogan was going to definitely beat Warrior but glad I was wrong there!

IC yellow but I do love the white too, Winged Eagle probably the standard black.
I prefer the black but the yellow strap has really caught my eyes.

Was 5mm always the normal size for the belt back in WWF? I just ordered mine and its 4mm
Sportsbrainiac35 Real belts used on TV are made from Zinc in 4-4.2mm thickness. The modern replicas are all advertised as 5mm thick although I’ve seen copies of the same belt differ so they could be anywhere between 4 and 5mm thick tbh

Warrior belt should say WWF
I know many people complain about this title should be wwf not wwe logo, but we know the reason..so we cant blame wwe for doing this

It is a shame but unfortunately thats not likely to ever change now. Only chance to get a casted WWF IC is the master series which go for thousands now

Shawn never had "COLORED STRAPS".. jus his plating was different since his was an "OLDER VERSION"... the one RAMON won was the NEWER.. which he and Shawn would feud over... WARRIOR IS THE ONLY ONE AT THAT TIME TO CONSISTENTLY CHANGE THE COLOR OF HIS STRAP...
@@delvinkyles8103 You are incorrect. Shawn Michaels had a baby blue strap IC belt at Wrestlemania 9 and he had a white strap IC belt that he lost to and later regained from Marty Janetty. He also won the White IC from Jeff Jarrett.

Ever since they changed the color they added to much leather all around.The 80's versions are the best with the leather close to the plates.
