My brother (Australian) was living in London at the time the Charlatans 'broke' He was living above a record store. He used to mail me new releases via Royal Mail. So I was fortunate that I got a chance to hear this kind of stuff months before it was ever release or played in Australia. I've been a fan ever since :-) I actually used to listen to the John Peel sessions on the BBC World Service, but I missed this session.

It was sorta released as a giveaway on a 7" flexidisc included with the Reflex Magazine in the early 90s (I have a copy) and played live at least once.
Yeah, please upload your live version. It would be good to have a listen... The Charlatans were always a pet band for me, those early singles were dynamite! (8(
The version is exactly the same (minus the intro). Yours is obviously better quality - I was curious where it originally came from. I can upload the live version if you'd like it.

It was on a cassette that came free with lime lizard magazine early 90's.
