Do you think this movement helped anything other than those educated and wealthy enough to partake in its mechanism? Today we are far more educated and have far more disposable income to read and leisurely absorb this construct, but do you think it helped those in need at the time? I believe the combined implementation of subsistence with warm dry shelter far outweighs our need for the intricacies of arts and crafts.
