Agree completely on getting inside! As a San Francisco native, I beg to differ on the largest collection of Victorian houses. Unless I'm wrong on my dating. I'll bet you CAN say brick vs redwood and make that statement correct.
That park brings back memories of the jazzy folk music of the Geyer street sheiks playing under the pavilion while we gathered, each of us bringing a dish. That made the 1990s a very special time
The roofs on 1800's buildings were spectacular. I would have loved to have seen how they built them. We lost something special when Victorian architecture went out of style.
I live in Michigan, but we have that style of beautiful homes here too. I loved ♥ the widow's walk ,windows, brick work too. Thanks for the wonderful video, but it would have been cool to see the inside too.
What a lovely building. The color scheme of the restoration is spot-on...I'm a fan of green and red. I too love those round windows. I had no idea St. Louis had such a beautiful large park. Is this location far from where the World's Fair site?
A police station?!!! Even multi-million dollar mansions aren't built to this standard today. What a stunning building. Thanks for the nicely done video.
Wow, that was rude! Can't you just enjoy the fact that he showed us this beautiful building and told us the history of it? Also, if you read his comments, he mentioned he would like to visit the interior at a later date.
The widow's walk and gas lantern is such a nice touch to the house.
Gosh what a beautiful Mini-Mansion. What a wonderful house that would be to live in!
Not really where it's located though. Crime and no privacy.
It’s so good to see a property that has been restored so well. I like the colours and the pattern on the tiles roof. Thank you Ken.
Love the bullseye windows.
Me too. All the windows were unique, but the circular ones made me REALLY wish I had one!!
I would like to have seen pics or video from inside house!
Hopefully we will be able to tour it when things get back to normal again.

Its all super modern 1970's inside.
I think that includes everyone

Beautiful. I would like to see inside as well. Thank you. Pat from Dayton, Ohio.
I moved away from STL 6 years ago, and one of the things I miss most is the architecture. Really been enjoying your videos, Ken!
Glad you like them!

I found you by accident and i love it. Your voice is so nice. Its sets me at ease and contributs to the over all vibe of your videos. Thanx
Interesting. Not very big, but quite tall. I like how big the tower is in relation to the rest of the building.
Beautiful structure

The World's Fair was at Forest Park, which isn't too far from here.

Glad you enjoyed it!
Darn, I was hoping to see the inside. I have been on the first floor, but not the upstairs. Thanks for sharing.
Hopefully we can tour the interior in the future, stay tuned!
What a gorgeous "police station"! WOW. Way better than my home! lol
Same here. Pics from inside.till pretty and historic. .
Beautiful house. Love the color scheme.
Beautiful house. Would like to explore the inside.
Thats so cool!!
Show us the interior please ! Thanks for posting.
We'll see if we can get a tour of the interior. Stay tuned!
Love it!!!
Inside would’ve been cool to see.
My dream is to have a Victorian style original home on Salem, Mass and restore it. Not modern but keep as much of its charm as possible
It is gorgeous. I would love to see inside
It looks just like the Governor’s Mansion in Jefferson City. I googled and discovered it was built around the same time.
I would also like to see the inside of this house.
Hopefully we can tour the interior in the future, stay tuned!
Beautiful house....... If they need someone to move in give me a call........It's really a beautiful place...
looks beautiful, also looks like the miniature version of the Addams family house hahaha
It’s a beautiful house! Are you not allowed inside?
Looks a lot like a decorated cake or children's book illustration.
Just curious, did the illustrator Charles Addams ever visit St. Louis? I'm definitely getting Addams Family vibes from this police house...
Ok, this was very informative but not going inside. Surely someone on the committee could find a key. Better luck next time.
I've been in this and it's more of a meeting/office space. Not house-like on the inside.
That's a bummer. My imagination went in a completely different direction.
is this in the same park as the Carasoul ?
Was the door locked?
❤
That’s #Ny #Park (1800‘s)
Man U get a thumbs down 👎🏾 very short vid n no pics or vid of the inside Blah blah blah 😑
