I don’t get tired of watching this video again and again. I just happen to own four B9200s, one in green, two ale Capitole and one Corail. Thank you for such a fine and complete video.
Magnificent locomotive, so French in design. I have two of them. One has mysterium with very vaigly dusted airventilation on the sides and no red behandling numbers. Anyway nice video and story telling of these locomotives. Regards from sweden.🇸🇪🇲🇫😊
hello my friend enjoyed seeing this engine a very good looking engine big fan thanks for the narration always makes the video more interesting nice work as always have a great weekend thanks for sharing have put one of these engines on my shopping list 👏👏😁😁👍👍cheers for now al
super.
Beautiful loco and coaches! Beautiful train! Le Mistral is one of my favorites as well as Le Capitole. Classic Märklin which I longed for during my childhood and teen years and which now I own. Cheers from Costa Rica.
Very nice presentation and good history around the BB9200 class. I really love this era Märklin locomotives with gray cellophan windows. Solid, strong, uncomplicated and actually very smooth running. I do not have any Märklin 4076/4050 coaches as they seem to be quite expensive now. In stead I have a few Roco UIC-Y coaches, look fine as the train runs around the track. BR, Anders
It took me a couple of years to find the 4076s in good condition and at a price I could afford... Good old Märklin toys... Thanks for the visit, glad you enjoyed the video.
Nice overview of the 3038. It is indeed a classic analog locomotive. I pair mine with 4050's, which are not as nice as your 4076's (since they don't have interiors), but they will do for now. Nice introduction to the other similar prototypes and a good explanation of the differences between the Marklin variants during the two decades the model was produced.
Super video with great info on the model and prototype !!! I have the digital version (Märklin 30380: SNCF BB 9278 mfx digital), and just received the Märklin 3165: SNCF BB 9280 H0 AC analog in great shape. The directional switch works, but the loco only goes forward, in rear the lights come on an the loco buzzes, but no movement, any thoughts?
Thanks for the visit. There is most likely plenty of resinified oil in your 3165, it will block gears and prevent the motor from turning. it needs a good service and should be back in business. I opened my one in my video about the 3165 (ua-cam.com/video/xlb-_godY-U/v-deo.html), and there is a step by step maintenace basics on a BR151 technically very similar (ua-cam.com/video/ol7Wjpss0Zc/v-deo.html)
@@The3rdRail thanks for the tip, I did watch the deconstruction part, and if an older loco doesn’t run, that’s what I would do. However, the motor runs freely forward. I noticed in the description the seller noted “directional switch defective” after I received the loco from Germany, and assume it’s either an electric or contact issue. I don’t want to return it, and if push comes to shove, I’ll upgrade it to digital.
@@tomsmaerklintrainlayout6742 Sorry, hadn't read your original comment properly... Assuming the spring is still there, and things are changing over, the problem could be down to a couple of things: - one of the wires from the reverser (switch) to the windings is lose and needs resoldering - one of the 2 wires from the windings to the motor plate is lose or broken and needs re attaching to the motor plate - the reverser contacts are bent, these are the bits the wires from the windings are attached to, this usually happens when someone has attempted to solder something and melted the plastic the contacts are mounted on, that's trickier, you can try and bend things back in shape gently, but you might not get very far and break the plastic... In this case, the reverser will needs swapping.

Glad you like the videos, Thanks for the renewed visit! Enjoy your locos!
"Juvenile mode" is something to behold, and made me laugh out loud.
It is all about having fun in the end😉
That one is still on my wish list.
I am lucky to have seen the original once in France.
In the original livery, must have been a museum loco.
:)
Thanks for the visit
Another great video. I recently got a 3058 and 3059. Now I just need passenger coaches. 😀
I hope you find some at a price you can afford. Thanks for the visit, glad you enjoyed the video.
