How great is the smile on her face when JB starts singing? Beyond what the exposure does for her as a musician, it's clearly such a huge thrill for her as a fan to be able to play with the band.
Had watched a video of Ann Marie playing some Phish tunes a week before the show....I was outta my mind on some chocolates and thought I was dreaming when she stepped on stage!! One of my favorite Jimmy-era Panic experiences. They killed it!
2008 Panic with Jimmy before they "reigned him in" is my second favorite Panic year after 98. I mean he's forging empires with this shit! Total mastery. The tobacco burst strat needs to return if he still has it.
Unbelievable....after watching her Surprise Valley solo violin video so many times.... to see her with the band is mesmerizing!!!! Thanks for posting!!!
This was one of my favorite panic shows out of the ones i've been to. Watching the video makes me wish I could go back and play the night all over again!
OMG kjstainback.....you are so right, they had to be listening to something else this is fabulous, and exactly right can't go wrong with a live Panic show!
Not always a huge Panic fan, but this is sick. Love Jimmy Herring and Dave Schools together, and obviously the addition of Ann Marie for this show was great. Thanks for posting.
I had never heard of Anne Marie and had tickets to see Jethro Tull in Houston back not long after this, she opened the show with an amazing 45 minute set and then played the entire freakin' concert with J.Tull!! One of the best shows I've ever seen. She's simply amazing, check out her concerts with Yanni and Steve Vai.
I am fed up w/people trash'n George! He is a fine player (way better than any of the idiots slagin' him) and contibuted greatly to Panic, in fact the album Earth to America is one of their finest.
@MrFreako2010 We must be listing to two totally different songs. The phrasing is spot on. He brings a Jazz element which i feel fits. But to each there own.
the feeling i had when i they played that drivin>surprise was a feeling i havent felt since i last heard houser make the hairs on my neck stand..... see ya in knoxville>myrtle>charlotte.
That was Awesome. Ann Marie is getting down. You can just tell she is thrilled to be on stage. And holy crap do herrings fingers move fast. Thanx for that piece of vid
Even with how good this is, it doesn't even catch how good it was live. I think the sound board they used cut out some of her playing. Seeing it live was UNBELIEVABLE!
You couldnt find a better crowd of people to enjoy a show with. When Panic comes to town. They along with all us lil Pilgrims we own tht town!! :) Them are Vacation Days at it finest. Love Vacationing with the Family But these days is where Daddy love to spend his Vacation... WSMFP.........Us Pligrims are having withdrawals....WE NEED A FIX....CAN I GET A HELL YEAH
@pajasper I love watching her facial expressions after playing her number, she is just smiling from ear to ear in a " I can,t believe this really happening" way and then to procedes to confidently take over! Surprise Valley
I've watched this 100 times. Chills have run up and down my spine 100 times.
There are moments during a live performance when the emotion of the music being played moves you beyond words. This is a prime example.
SAME
Hahaha I know the feeling never gets old
Totally agree brother

It was a classy gesture on her part when he stepped on her intro
❤
Lucky enough to be there and this is my favorite song. Great moment
I was at this show up front and the first time they brought Ann Marie Calhoun on stage, Awesome 😎👍❤
Both Jimmy and Ann Marie Calhoun turned up the heat. Incredible talent.
His look when she starts playing is classic, but then her reaction when he starts singing is even better!
Anne Marie's Hauser improv was magical, and she nailed it...the whole performance is a total groove...unbelievable.
I am so glad they still jam. I am 37 and been listing to them since I was 19 and they still make me want to get up and dance.
I was at this show. Two night run at the Creek. Panic brought the heat.
This does not get old.
+VainJangling never!!!!
Prob the best collab theyve ever done. Well done boys last night in chicago was great!
The absolute best version of driving song I've ever heard live, wish we could go back in time Ann Marie killlled it!

I’ve never seen anyone jam the violin so radly, since SCI 💕💕 Get it, Ann Marie!!
Had watched a video of Ann Marie playing some Phish tunes a week before the show....I was outta my mind on some chocolates and thought I was dreaming when she stepped on stage!! One of my favorite Jimmy-era Panic experiences. They killed it!
I always listen to songs over and over, but I can't control myself from listening to this over, and over, and over, and over, and over...
Makes the hair stand up on my arms EVERYTIME
this is why I'm a Panic fan. was lucky enough to be there!!
Every time I watch this it brings a tear to my eye! I have not seen enough widespread!
bringin along ann for these shows was brilliant - soooo awesome
If it does not make you weep with joy...you did not hear it , listen again.
A perfect example of a guitarist that plays OUTSIDE...Awesome!

Was at this show! Very rare WP show! JB was amazing!
Who gave this a dislike? If you disliked this, you have no taste in good soulful music. I feel sorry for you. 🙂
Still one of the best shows of my life.

2007 to 2011, Dave and Jimmy were symbionts. Ridiculous interplay. Not sure what happened. It's still good, just not AS good.
Wow. First time watching this. That is some good stuff. That chick on the fiddle is awesome.
I had never heard of Anne Marie and had tickets to see Jethro Tull in Houston back not long after this, she opened the show with an amazing 45 minute set and then played the entire freakin' concert with J.Tull!! Holy Shit... Cant Wait for Panic in Paradise. Orange Beach!!!!!!
This seems like light years ago since Ann Marie went to Hollywood and left Brian Calhoun for Mike Einziger...
Virtuosity on guitar and violin. Absolute money.
Wow. just wow!
Even with how good this is, it doesn't even catch how good it was live. I think the sound board they used cut out some of her playing. Seeing it live was UNBELIEVABLE!
Ann Marie Calhoun is a Jedi.
jimmy can melt a guitar by looking at it, and I want to mary anne marie calhoun...nice tune

Where can I find more music like this? Ya know, awesome rock jam with a sick fiddle.
Can someone point me in the right direction, please?
first time I've heard it, and goose bumps hit me like a ton of bricks.
Badass on so many levels. Where is she today?
