It's gonna take 2-3 seasons for us to be super bowl contenders. I have high hopes with the recent changes and draft picks, but it will take time. And that's ok with me :)

They took down all the Holmgren and Hasselbeck stuff when Pete arrived. Its just kind of what happens when a new regime comes in, you'll also probably see a slightly new style of uniform with in a year or so to also show the new era. This team is so talented all around, that with the right coaching it can easily be top 5 on both sides of the ball..
Agreed! We’ve got 2 mad scientists/Genius. With Grubb offensively, he’s similar to Macdonald in that they put players in positions to excel! They’re both extremely creative in their schemes. No wonder Alabama wanted Grubb, long before they hired Deboer! I know he’s a first time OC in the NFL, but offense is still offense in the NFL. I think he’ll make Geno a much better QB, same goes for Howell. We’ve got arguably one of the best WR’er trios in the league! Don’t sleep on N. Fant either, because Grubb loves using his TE’s. No wonder they picked up Jack Westover…As long as our offensive line can stay healthy, K-9 & Charbonnet should have great success. Walker can break it from anywhere on the field, he’s got 4.3 speed (ELITE Speed!) and Charbonnet is a thumper 💪.
Defensively, we’ve got a lot of talent/potential, but also a lot of unknowns…How well will Dodson & Baker do as the new LB’ers? In the “trenches” aka the defensive line is stacked! Idk how Murphy fell to us @16? Nobody saw that coming! Aaron Donald has been a game wrecker since his rookie year, and we’ve got to play them 2x’s a year, and he’s dominated Seattle ever since! Nobody will be the next AD. Murphy has all the potential to become DROY, and be that game wrecker Seattle hasn’t had since the great Cortez Kennedy! He should be a day 1 starter, or the very least a great rotational player! As far as CB’s, Seattle is stacked! Riq & Spoon have each made the Pro Bowl! And we drafted 2 more CB’s from Auburn. And at Safety we’ve got Love & newly signed Rayshawn Jenkins! That’s how you build a defense, from the trenches, out. Macdonald should improve this defense immediately! I’m not saying he’s going to turn the defense into #1 overall, however they should at minimum be top 15, possibly even top 10 😳🤞. All said, this should be a very interesting season, especially considering our schedule! 6 of our first 9 games are @Home, week 10 bye, no international games, I think it’s ranked as the 24th hardest schedule? If Seattle gets to 6-3 or better by the bye week, we should definitely be a wildcard contender! Remember Seattle was also 6-3 last season before they went to Germany and lost to the Bucs and it seemed like we played differently after the international game!? Lastly, if teams are going to play international games they should get a bye afterwards! Traveling that far, through some many time zones, and “jet lag!” sucks! Your body can’t adjust in a couple days, then when your body gets adjusted, you’re already flying back to play a game the next week!

Kickoffs should be a lot more exciting than in previous seasons, because of the new rules! Question; Eskridge or Shennault, returning kickoffs?
@@JJDonoghue I think Shennault will excel with the new kick off rules, unfortunately for Eskridge dude should've never been drafted here when Creed was right there. I think Pete was hoping for the next Harvin smh. But when it was a yr where you only had 3 picks the center should've been chosen. I think the O-line has finally come together and will be great this year. Let this young squad build reps for the foreseeable future. The Defense is so stacked everywhere, its a lil scary and I'm sure MacDaddy is just salivating. Knight is actually gonna turn out to be a beast as well kind of a Jadaveon Clowney type but at MLB postion, a disrupting tackling machine. I dunno what they do with all these cb's tho. I'm sure they got a plan, I would like to see Coby back out there creating turnovers too. Maybe wishful thinking but I would also like to see all top 3 wrs over 1k before Locket retires. I feel we will surprise everyone this year. With this easy schedule, this year will be our opportunity to take back over the division and make a strong playoff run maybe even possible homefield advantage. Next years schedule will be much tougher.
Seattle is going to surprise a lot of people this year. They have the players. They just needed to get rid of Pete and his horrible coaching staff

I wouldn’t say horrible coaching staff, but it certainly became stagnant and lacked an overall vision. Still had a winning record… love Pete, but it was the right time for a change with all this young talent on the roster!

Karl Scott is the only one. They did not coach anything. All scrubs after DQ left. That was Pete’s downfall. He trusted a terrible staff with his Stone Age philosophy

Quarterback play will be lacking this year. Geno will have a horrible year. The new Bears offensive coordinator made Geno. He's gone now, so Geno is on a downhill trajectory.
Nah, Grub is going to use everybody around Geno creatively so Geno can just be a game manager and not be put in a lot of stressful situations that causes Geno to turnover the ball.
If Smith reverts back to his old self, we have a good replacement.
In 2 seasons Geno turnover rate has been good the offensive line caused most of his turnovers Geno is accurate as hell and has shown that game manager, no Geno better than that
exactly I see the same happening to baker in Tampa. they just had a decent year, nothing in their past playing years have shown they're legit starters. exactly reminds me of the Matt Flynn situation all over again.
Howell is a beast! He’s 6’1 220lbs…He’s got a cannon of an arm 💪, accurate and can literally run over LB’ers & CB’s alike! I hope that he balls out during the preseason, and Seattle has no choice but to start him! He was in a bad situation in Washington, yet he still threw for close to 4,000 yards, 22 touchdowns and 22 interceptions (Peyton Manning threw 28 interceptions his first season as the starter!) Because the Commanders offensive line sucked too, he was sacked for a league high 65x’s! He also threw the most passes in’23, they had no run game, so the opposing defenses knew he was going to pass, which I’m sure lead to some of those interceptions…Howell lead the NFL in yards per carry @5.5 yards per attempt, and tied Lamar Jackson with 5 rushing touchdowns! At 23, he’s the same age as Jayden McDaniels, and younger than Penix & Nix, but he’s got 18 games of NFL experience! Scott Huff transformed UW’s offensive line into the best unit in College football!
