Many thanks. I love this part mostly in Amadeus. It is full of beautiful music piece of Don Giovanni and Figaro. The laci da rem, dance part, and the 4 act of Figaro of Court are extremely beautiful.
Love the synergy between common people and highly aesthetic art, just as saying: of course we can also apreciate fine things, tje same as those who call themselves 'fancy' 'classy' or 'refined' people. In the end, as humans that we are us all, distinctions can be made in any direction and high quality can be easily recognized
Keep in mind this was entertainment at the time like going to the movies, that's why operas were so popular. Also in the movie, this is a commoner opera house, the scene after this one, the actor explained to Mozart that if he debut his operas there he would have more financial success than showing them in the Kings opera house where they only ran for a couple of shows and shut down.
A mí papacito Pepe que en paz descanse le gustaba mucho esta escena de la película Amadeus, que lindo pudimos ver juntos está hermosa producción cinematográfica.
That’s because she is. She expressly says to her husband, I don’t like what that man did with your opera. She’s a realist and is in a tight position, watching the family finances and understands that what’s going on is currently simply working.
^ It’s a pantomime/vaudeville. A portmanteau/medley of all of Mozart’s famous tunes in the form of a sort of “poor man’s opera” so that high culture could be made accessible to those who weren’t fortunate enough to pay the high prices to access it in its original form or simply for those who didn’t care for all the stuffing and powdered wigs of the mainstream theater. Such performances were widely common and popular across classical music-era Europe. See Jon Gay‘s Beggar’s Opera which premiered in England many decades before this, but followed the same concept and originated this form.
@@chriss.3817 ^ It’s not an opera buffa. Not in the sense of a proper opera (buffa or seria) in which you would have needed to sit down and be quiet throughout. Yes, it’s comedic, but it’s a portmanteau/medley of different tunes meant for the more common folk (as opposed to the high classes and nobility/royalty who attended the regular theater) and as you can see, the atmosphere is chill and interactive. Everyone is having fun and there is no need to sit there quietly which you’d need to do during any proper opera.
Truly one of the most incredible scenes ever filmed. It’s so active, intentional, and communal. It sums up humans in a sense.
You, sir, just described how humans are: active, INTENTIONAL, and communal. Beautiful.

Don Giovanni, Figaro and the Kindnap from the Serraglio
Was this an actual vaudeville or was this written specifically for the movie

This is not a director cut, it is included in the official release.
Imagine being able to chug a bottle of liquor while in a public theater. Not today.
Totally fine in the Northwest
It is easier to DOMINATE OR HAVE CONTROL WITH OTHERS THAN WITHIN ONESELF
Love it so much
Miaufully beautiful
Imagine a time when this wouldn't get you copyright flagged!
Mozart looks very amused by the opera while Constanze looks somewhat disgusted

So this was cut from the movie?! I didn't knew since i watched the director's cut
That's not German subtitles. 😕
Was Mozart ( in the movie) the writer of this opera? What was the point of this n the movie?
This is an opera buffa, a comedy, so they mix scenes from Don Giovanni, Le Nozze di Figaro etc, Mozart's works.
@@chriss.3817 oh so all of that wss from Mozart's works?! So that's why he directly go to Mozart when he wasn't on the play yet
@@ejayjusto3602 Yes, exactly 💯
