- Named after the car, this channel is for documenting my ownership experience and it will also be an opportunity for me share a little about what its like to be an Englishman living out here in the Shikoku Islands of Japan.
In this episode I show you the interior and explain the controls.

I have U 11,finally someone taking about my car. Keep up.
I think the older Bluebirds with rear wheel drive and the newer more powerful ones get all the attention. I really Like the U11 model though and its design is aging really well
@@birdy3934 I agree with you about the design, especially the front and back lights ...well put together.
You in Kenya?
That dashboard is clean and perfect, I actually changed the halogen bulbs that comes in the whole dashboard from the factory and replaced them with LED bulbs, it's pretty simple actually and the visibility of the instruments like speedometer and such is improved, actually I changed every single bulb of the car and replaced them with LED hehe and actually looks pretty good... I really like your videos, thanks for showing the details on your car, it's inspiring for me
Oh great that may be an upgrade to keep in mind for the future
wow dope find mate, my uncle had one of this particular model for 20+ years, still in solid working condition, it really is built to last, the pick up with a little bit of tweaking is unreal on that car, anyway cheers mate, ill follow along ur UA-cam journey 👍

Absolutely love these in hardtop mode.
Torn between the u11 and the u12.
If you can get the u12 to vlog with please do. Particularly the SSS Attessa.
I know someone in Tokyo with a U12 and a U11! Tokyo is a 8 hour drive from her though lol
I've got a 1984 nissan bluebird ventura. Crazy how much more luxurious yours is. Mines quite clean and low ks but yours is much nicer :P
Strange but the Bluebird of 80s is one of my favorite cars, for the shape of square cars : a car

The floor mats are original! Well the drivers one isnt. Im looking for a full set of nice new ones anyway
Hi, you didn't show us the strip of warning lights that runs across the dash, which is a distinctive feature. It gets featured in an ad for the car. Not sure what all the lights were for though. Let us know! ;-)
I will do a 2 year owner review soon. I will feature the dash lights for you
This beast is mint condition considering the age.
Oh my god this is my father car !!

Do you know the name ? The product?
I had a look and there is no markings on it so I can not tell where it is from
Ok :) thank you a lot
Great video !!!
I used to have one of these 😂
The bluebird was also made in Sunderland, poetic
Yes when something lasts that is quality not only looks nice and expensive.
What´s the matter if you have expensive leather seats that brake after 5 years.
Hi birdy can you still get the parts for this spec in JPN ..?
No its so difficult to find parts!
you sell the white covers for the seat?
i still have them. Happy to sell if your interested
Is the suspension soft On back roads?
It is a bit yes
Ok nice.
Never seen one with no Rev counter
Greetings! I want to ask you - how much did you pay for this car in Japan? I have an offer for an '84 model 1.8 liter imported from Osaka in the 90s to Bulgaria for around 1000 euros.
I bought it in auction for 150000 jpy so thats about the same as 1000 euro
This would have been known as a "Stanza" in the USA.
The reason for that is because in Fort Valley, Georgia, is a manufacturer of school buses called Blue Bird. It was founded in 1932 - ironically, the same year the first Datsun automobile was built! _(4/2/2023)_
@@knowbodiesfull5768 Wow, I never realized that would have created such an issue.
How much did u pay for it in £ mate?
Thanks
the interior , very nice
the exterior .... 🤮
