In Japan , there was alot of cool things about the B12 Sunny, one of the cooler facts is that B12s were some of the first Nismo trim production cars they made , also came with E series Turbo 4 banger engines ... similar to what was seen in the Pulsar and Exa at the time. There was also the RZ-1 which never sold in the US unfortunately. All in all B12s actually have a decent bit of things going for them
I bought a 2-Door Nissan Sentra XE (b12) from my friend in the late 90s. I added several aftermarket cosmetics to it. I even lowered it on 15 inch TSW rims. I eventually put a header on it, but had to remove it because the engine kept overheating. Eventually, I had to get rid of it because the second transmission on it went bad. Good memories of that little car.
as a kid my mom drove an 88' we sold it to my piano teacher in 05' so he could learn stick. I miss that car so much I wish i could go back to 05 and convince my dad to save it so it could be my first car. Also these b12 sentras are all over the place in Costa Rica, no matter where you are you will see these things driving around

@@heybentai nah not the rz-1, it looks almost the same as yours except the front indicators are amber, the dashboard has a speedometer and tachometer and they come with a kind of bucket seat and it's a four door Edit; and it has a different front bumper

Months later I finally get to watch your video. Funny how my car Ollie Nissan doesn't have those weird seat belts, just the regular 3 point shoulder belts in the front.
I wish that cars like this were still available - they're simple, do the job, ok for city and expressway driving. Long road trips - nah. Reliable, and relatively economical. I really don't trust a "new" car over about 5 -8 years old.
I've always liked these. 2 door saloons are quite rare where I live, lots of regular sedans available though. aren't 16x8 a tad big for a B12? from what i've heard they take up to 15x8 to avoid rubbing but that's coming from the hotboi spec height crew. Personally I like how they look on 14x8.
Anyone else have that weird fuse glitch on these where it just dies as you start moving? It would happen all the time when I first inherited my 1990 sentra, often in the worst of situations. I'd have to crawl under the steering wheel and replace the little yellow ENG CNTL fuse, usually on the fuckin freeway stopped in traffic, or in the middle of an intersection.

Don't know in what part of the US u are, but a few mods can make that car real peppy: 1. Headers (2.5" pipe) 2. Cut ou the Cat Converter. 3. Port polishing the heads. 4. Weber Carburetor 32/36 (for gas mileage) or dual 44 IDF for some nice HP Or 5. Weber + Turbo. You’re all good bro thanks for watching. My model the one is the video is a base model. 4 speed trans roll up windows no ac no power steering. So 1989 B12 Nissan Sentra base model. In Mexico they go my Tsuru in Japan they go by Sunny.
3rd link down in the description. The bushings fit great, the pins are a little large so you will need to sand them or get a bigger hammer than I was using.

Actually, if you were in the US, all 1989 Sentras had throttle body fuel injection. 1988 and back had the carburetors.

I sometimes rub in the front if I hit a fat bump but regular driving it’s good, I rolled the rear fenders so those have never rubbed.

Where did you get the door pins and bushings? I could use a set for my 90’ xe sportcoupe

Yup just needed to zip tie the brake line, the ones I linked in the description on Amazon are the exact ones I used.
