I’ve been a retired nurse for 10 years. Girls to this day I still wear scrubs more often than anything else. Not easy for us to give up our scrubs even after there is no need to even have them. 😉
Can you do a video on tips for a very heavy petite woman? Searching for sweaters and sweater skirts or dresses doesn’t look fight. What cut, should I be looking for?💋
I just found this video and so happy I did. I am in no way petite - I am 5'9 size 2 yet found all your tips could translate to any size. So many on YT have no clue to dressing professionally. You are spot on and love your style.
I really like your style of creating videos, you're so creative and fun! Thank you for all the tips you share, you have helped me so much to finally love my body type... I just never knew how to flatter it and thus kept thinking it's not "feminine" or "beautiful"
Congrats on 100K!! I found you recently and have found you to be the most knowledgeable in petite sizing! I’ve learned so much by binge-watching so many of your videos!
I absolutely love your channel and find it so helpful! One thing I notice, though, with most petite channels out there--everyone is so tiny! I am 5'0" tall, but also a little heavier at around 135/140 with weight distributed pretty evenly. I would love to see a collab with you and someone petite but "midsize"--or do you think all the tips you have work with midsize and plus size petite ladies? I know everyone's shape is different, but it would be nice to see these tips on heavier ladies for reference. Thank you, again, for your videos!!
@Sam Paulson Thanks so much! I guess I just meant in comparison to most petite UA-camrs who are about 20lbs lighter with smaller frames. But I appreciate your comment!
Great video! Another exception to jeans in business casual is in some engineering jobs more robust fabrics like denims are required for safety so denim/jeans (especially darker washes) are more likely to be accepted.
My job has always had a super relaxed dress code, and we recently got a new boss who wants us all to dress business casual. I gotta shop for new clothes!
This was 😃 great! In today's era how to dress is not taught much and expectations not expressed quite well when taking on a job. When I read an article in the Post about trying to get young adults to understand why flip flops are not appropriate in government...I was done for. Thank you. Love your humor.
Hi. I just subscribed your channel. You are so lovely. Thank you so much for your help to all the petites. I am an Indian woman 5'1' feet 30 years old. I never wore any western costumes in my life when I was in India because I was not allowed to because of the traditions we have. I recently moved to Australia but here I felt so difficulty to find dresses for my personality especially for height. But you helped me a lot. Thank you so much. 🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍😍😘😘😘😘😘❤
I'm becoming a teacher and I think this video was very helpful for my new wardrobe. I'm looking for some good pants for work. I have 2 pairs, but they don't fit me right. I'm still thrifting for some better ones.
Professional etiquettes to be considered while grooming is something that would make an interesting topic Ie How to conduct oneself in a professional space
i appreciate how many skirt options you added in. i LOVE wearing skirts and dresses, and "business casual" just makes me feel like i have to dress more masculine and i don't like it. other business casual tutorials ONLY showcase pants
Thanks! As a college student my wardrobe consists of volunteer t-shirts and black leggings, and I was never taught what to wear for business casual. Looks like I have a lot of shopping to do!
I need business casual w/pants, no skirts,,,casual yet professional was suggested. I'm trying to figure it out. I'll be playing, teaching, in therapy w/kids. I can do jeans but don't like them. Love the blush pants. Like the brown too. Thanks Chi💕
Chi can you pls do a video on dressing a Bottom Hourglass for petites.. Read your blog for spoon body shape but not sure whether all that will fit for bottom hourglass also..
My work told us to 'dress for your day' so if you have no client meetings, you can wear whatever you want so long as you don't look like you'd fit in at a family bbq. They used this specific example in their email. Clearly it means no shorts, singlets and sandals etc. Still surprised to see some people push the envelope anyway.
That green dress shirt looks shiny. I was wondering if wearing one piece of shiny clothing was acceptable for business casual. My skirt is black and shiny my blouse is not shiny.
I always hate my work outfits. Too dressy or too casual or not flattering. I just realized my tops are too flowy and my work pants are all only mid rise and all my skirts are short. I need a major overhaul xD
Is it okay to wear pajamas to work? Option 1 🤔😂. Seriously I have seen people shopping and in public places in their pajamas (like the ones you showed while working from home)
Gorgeous pencil skirt looks Chi and I love a good silk blouse and the green one you are wearing looks gorgeous with the pencil skirt!! I like that how you sit and you should've cross you legs to give it that elegant look to the pencil skirt. Love a pointy toe heel with a pencil gorgeous!! I love this video on business attire and thank you Chi for helping us having a fabulous clothes that makes us happy!! XO ❤💖👠🥰
Serious question: How does one carry one’s work shoes into work in Manhattan without a large bag to put them in? I live on the other side of the country but have been wanting to make my shoes last longer and wear sneakers into work, like I hear is done in NYC, with work shoes carried in one’s bag. But smaller bags don’t accommodate pumps, nor even flats (without potentially squishing them).
As an engineer - I just try to look neat and don't wear ripped jeans. Anything seems to go. The older guys seem to just where khaki pants with a shirt the younger guys wear jeans all the time! If you were to wear a jacket plus dress pants or skirt someone would ask you if you are interviewing for another job! I would like to dress up a little more, so maybe I will..
Watching even though I'm a nurse, and only wear hospital-provided scrubs...I wish I had a work wardrobe.
It's only fun for a short time. It's so much easier to have a uniform. I say this as a veteran and an RN.
Ditto that! And scrubs are easy, but I like to dream about "regular" work clothes sometimes 😂😂😂
To think I work where you can wear clothes and all the nurses want to where scrubs!!!
I’ve been a retired nurse for 10 years. Girls to this day I still wear scrubs more often than anything else. Not easy for us to give up our scrubs even after there is no need to even have them. 😉
Nurses used to dress so smart in a dress with a hat and sensible lace up shoes.
You are getting better and better! I love your sense of humor!
Why have I discovered your channel only now? 😭😭😭 This channel is a blessing for petite people! I’m 5’0 and struggling so much picking out clothes
Thank you so much, Arnee! Glad you liked my videos!
Great info!! I too am 5'2". I always thought skirts hitting at knee or above was the way to go but your skirt looks great!
Yes! Thank you!

Good tips! I'm work in a bank and sometimes i get frustrated because i don't know what to wear. Thank you ❤
You're so welcome!

Well being petite means short and very slim/skinny if you’re not that you’re just short
@@jodiehardy7220 lol no. By definition petite means short.
If you're looking for a petite channel for a bigger figure take a look at "Petite and Curvy". But fashion tips usually work for all body types.
@@jodiehardy7220 Nope 😂😂😂
Would love videos on Holiday dressing....Xmas and New Years♥️♥️♥️
I am a tall 🍎 & I still find your videos quite helpful. Thank you for all the details. Keep up the great work!
Great video! Another exception to jeans in business casual is in some engineering jobs more robust fabrics like denims are required for safety so denim/jeans (especially darker washes) are more likely to be accepted.
Great tip, Sarah!
I LOVE watching all your videos not only for learning but i love your humour and the fact that you entertain us
My job has always had a super relaxed dress code, and we recently got a new boss who wants us all to dress business casual. I gotta shop for new clothes!
I binge watch all of her videos, although i am tall and not petite.. Your videos deserves millions of subscribers
Your videos are very helpful and I look forward to them. Thanks and enjoy the day ☀️

Wow, thank you!
I love your tips, style, and sense of humor!
Glad you like them!

Hi Chi - another flawless helpful video, THANK YOU for the time and attention you put into every detail in your videos. Have a lovely weekend :)
Please can you do smart casual workwear with flat heeled shoes like brogues or ballet flats?
Marvelous video - I so appreciate the humor along with the good advice!

Love your intro Chi! Another great video! Can you tell us where that tweed jacket in the beginning at 1:32 is from? Thanks
I would love to know too
Always great tips from you, Chi, thanks.
These are great, but business casual definitely varies on your region and workplace. Jeans rule in my profession 🐸
Another great video. You are spot on with your petite dressing tips.
I felt so convicted with the wiggling around pulling the skirt down.
I'm becoming a teacher and I think this video was very helpful for my new wardrobe. I'm looking for some good pants for work. I have 2 pairs, but they don't fit me right. I'm still thrifting for some better ones.

The opening scene is stupendous!!! 🤣🤣
I'm quite tall but this video is so relavent to me, thanks for sharing
Thanks! As a college student my wardrobe consists of volunteer t-shirts and black leggings, and I was never taught what to wear for business casual. Looks like I have a lot of shopping to do!
You made me fall in love with my petite apple shape Chi! I love your channel🌹
Thanks, Njeri! Glad you loved it!
I love your videos. I am from Venezuela 🇻🇪, watching you from Canada 🇨🇦.

Thanks to you, I was able to figure out why a tee shirt was so unflattering on me so I got rid of it. Thank you!
Glad I could help!
Please make a video about hoodie styles for short girls. 😔
The tight black skirt looked so cute on her; maybe she could wear it with a cute, colorful top for a date night ☺️
Thank you Chi. 👍🙂. Very good information.
Love your acting skills. ❤️🌟
Where is your belt from? I didn’t see a link for it. Love it!
So many rules lol I am very very thankful I work in tech and roll up in a hoodie
😂
Love that tweed jacket. Where can i get one? So difficult to find in petite sizes. Ty
Best video on the subject. Fantastically done
I'm so glad to hear that! Thank you, Plamena! 🥰❤️
Chi can you pls do a video on dressing a Bottom Hourglass for petites.. Read your blog for spoon body shape but not sure whether all that will fit for bottom hourglass also..
Adorable and informative! I'm barely 5'2" on a good day thank you. 🙏
You're welcome! ❤️
Thank you for explaining that not every clothes can be used in business casual attire.
Love your videos! Do you ever wear jean shorts? if so what length and type of shirt. I know summer is over but I live in the south. Thanks
Chi you are my favorite! Love your videos.
Yay! Thank you!
This was really helpful, thank you!
This video was very helpful, thanks ❤

Hello Chi...where do you shop for heel
Hi I love the tweed blazer you wear in the beginning of this video but cannot find it linked? Where is it from please?
I always hate my work outfits. Too dressy or too casual or not flattering. I just realized my tops are too flowy and my work pants are all only mid rise and all my skirts are short.
I need a major overhaul xD
Takeaway; structured bags and see if bag can stand on its own
The tiny houndstooth check is called puppytooth
Great tips as always

Amazing as always!
Thanks for this video! Super!

Thank you so much, Christopher 🤗 Glad you like them!
Always great tips
I really like your nude/beige heels. Despite the higher heel, they look comfortable. Where did you find them?
No entiendo nada de lo que hablas pero supongo de que se trata por lo que veo . Me gusta tu programa
Can you make a video on how to dress a baby bump? ❤
WHERE did you get that gray tweed blazer?
I love your videos! Thank you :)

Ty for the video
This was a great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Bookmarked this video 😊👍
Hope you enjoyed it!
HI DOES CROP BLAZER COME UNDER BUSINESS CASUAL?
3/30/31 Q: Can a floral floor-length maxi skirt ever be "casual Friday" at work? What top would one choose? Many thanks :)
Serious question: How does one carry one’s work shoes into work in Manhattan without a large bag to put them in? This is awesome! Thank you :)!
loved it!
Love every your video💗
Thank you!
Welcome!
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Love your video 😊
You are funny and I love it :)
My business formal dress? Scrubs. My business casual dress? Scrubs. Casual Friday? Yep you guessed it... Scrubs
ThankyouThankyouThankyou!!

I’ve never understood bags. If you are working in an office… you’re putting it away right? I like bags I’ve just never understood this.
❤️❤️❤️
Just like "casual" dating. I !@#!@#!@3 hate this phrase. Thank you for making this video. Ugh. Too much "freedom" is just disorienting....
How much is your weight ?
Hi! I'm 5'2", 110Lbs.
