Can you make a video all on flat shoe outfits for petites? Heels look so good, but I can't wear them often. I need outfits to walk the city and chase after the bus in 😅
I cannot express what a game changer all of your advice has been for me! Always felt off, just didn’t know exactly why or how to fix it! Thank you! That being said? I think in outfit 1, you look better with the uninterrupted lines WITHOUT the belt. You have the cutest little figure..
Its so challenging finding wide leg jeans that are truly "scaled" for petites. Not justa shorter length but a narrower/slimmer wide-leg opening. Most petite versions are still ridiculously wide
I understand what you mean by creating balance but going from a sweater to an off the shoulder top and kitten heels is like going from pijamas to a bikini. The top and heels may look better but they are not comfortable and a total departure from the initial idea and more, to older ladies like me they are a no-no. The point for me would be how to look taller and casual but still comfortable and I think this is not it.
It's not covered in the video, and I agree with you, but taking some of the visual lessons you can extrapolate - a sweater that's more fitted with a wider neckline (i love boatnecks), wider leg pants with shoes that match the colour of the pants, and a belt - just those things would make a difference, just not as dramatic as what was demonstrated, and you'd still be cosy and comfortable 😊
I remember how frumpy I always looked and felt when we were all wearing those boxy tunic tops over leggings or skinnies. The best thing I ever did for my style was to give them all away. Now, I always show my waist and I soon realized that my legs are actually proportionally long compared to my short torso. So, I prefer tops tucked in or that end at my waistband, and cropped sweaters and jackets (they rarely show any tummy skin on me because they’re designed for much taller women). I love this video format, making outfits more flattering for us petites, thanks, Chi❤
This is so practical, and it explains every part of the outfit step-by-step in easy to digest bits. Thank you so much. This video does so much more for petite dressing than millions of others, you have no idea!
I do not like those jeans with that off the shoulder top. The first pair of jeans look more flattering. Maybe a different type of wide leg pants with that top
Yes I agree...the jeans were too loose on this one. Not everyone can were the tight jeans as well as she does so the first one looked better but I understand what she meant about balance. You basically need the wider leg to balance a big bust
In outfit 1, I find the before so much better! I agree it's quite plain but you give off a vibe of effortless chic and confidence. The off shoulder top just cuts you way to much. It makes your head and you neck look seperate from the rest whereas the pullover creates a vertical line. It might also just be that cream looks better on you than white but definitely the before is a lot nicer!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who had this thoughtabout the " before " look of the first Ensemble.. .. it was a Casually chic look, that looked comfortable and easy to wear.
The first look is nice but it would have been nicer if you replace the jersey with something cozy also. We're now in autumn and I'm always cold. Could you make some oufits for the colder days? Thank you!!!
Hi, I've been following you for a long time and I really appreciate your advice, but this time I have to say my thoughts. OUTFIT 1: I find that cigarette jeans make you look much slimmer. Baggy, short jeans lower and shorten your legs terribly. In cold weather, you can't wear an off-the-shoulder top. And cut the figure horizontally shortening it. I agree with the choice to wear your hair up and leave your neck uncovered, it makes you look much taller.
kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the *yutulu* book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
I heard a designer day once "crew necks look good on no one, ever!". I'm sure that's not 100 percent true, but it does make me step back a bit from the crew :-)
Can you do a video for how to look stylish when pregnant? Thanks for all your tips and tricks really has helped figure out why some clothes don’t work for me and why others do!
I still love my LV reverse monogram *yutulu* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
...As a petite ....sometimes I w a n t to wear a relaxed fit sweater/ top/ etc... but not " too oversized ", rsther, thst has a looser fit.. depending on what trousers or dressier Leggings I am wearing . And, i am height / weight proportionate...however, there are those thst are under 5'4 " that may weigh within a different range " and DONT want to belt thier Ensemble. ..which is something to be considered.
*yutulu* The canvas tote actually reminds me of the Hermes Garden Party too. Thanks for making this video to suggest more budget friendly alternatives. love it! 😊
Love chi and I have learned so much. But Outfit one. Show me am alternative cashmere sweater not a completely different shirt. Show me a flat that goes with the jeans.
I'm soooo in love with your videos, it sure helped me a lot. Little details here and there that sometimes we don't notice.....and there comes your videos. So grateful.! 🌹
I want to know this ..I can no longer wear any type of heels. Also pointy shoes... I've wide feet and they are so uncomfortable. I find fashion influencers don't know the answers to this as they are so often beautifullybthin
I don't think a belt would flatter a very short waisted petite. My short waist creates many new problems in finding styles that help me look proportional.
Please show how to look good in lounge wear and comfy clothes. I can’t always wear heels. Am a busy mom and also am always cold. I Cz t switch to off the shoulder short sleeved shirt
I guess Im the only one here that thinks ALL the after outfits are so much better. Its so great seeing this done side by side. Love your videos and the transformations each time I view a video of yours. Now I need to remember these tips and practice them more! Keep it up, Chi! ❤
Honestly, I'm not convinced about such wide trousers. I think I look better in straight ones, provided they are ankle-length. But you look very good in these outfits. 🙂
Hey! As soon as the LV bag I bought from HQDUPE was in my hand, it was like a fashion bomb exploding in my hand! The details are as exquisitely crafted as if by little elves, and the quality is excellent.
First off, let me say that I am not a petite woman. I, however, don't understand the obsession with trying to look taller. I understand not wanting to look frumpy, which by the way can happen to tall women as well, but you don't have to look like a model in order to look beautiful. I think height is overrated.
I hate crew necks. I simply will not buy them anymore. V neck is much more flattering and so are shorter tops. Clothing designers and manufacturers need to LISTEN to this.

Pleeeeaseeeee i dont like wearing sandals when i have to go in public transport
Am short,and I don't like heels too
Yes
Heels give me a pain in the neck for days after I wear them. So please on the flat shoes video here!
Yes, high heels look great, but I usually get really hurt afterwards.
I embrace my 4’11” height wholeheartedly. Nothing I wear will make me taller and that’s okay with me. 😊
I'm 4 10, but I always wish I'm a bit taller. Even 5 or 5 1.. I'll be happy lol
Why are you here tho
I cannot express what a game changer all of your advice has been for me! Always felt off, just didn’t know exactly why or how to fix it! Thank you! That being said? I think in outfit 1, you look better with the uninterrupted lines WITHOUT the belt. You have the cutest little figure..
Awesome. You taught me the whole beige shoe thing. I used to match my dress or top but doing beige shoes makes me look taller!

I agree, it did look more stylish but it went from fall to summer, cozy to uncomfortable.
Exactly

I really like how you did this video in steps!

You have the absolute best petite dressing advice!

I think the idea of the video showing outfits that give the illusion of looking taller
I'm glad I'm not the only one who had this thoughtabout the " before " look of the first Ensemble..

Scarfe and other accesories would have helped and maybe slightly different shoes.

Yes I agreed we need video how to look good in comfortable clothes and without heels. It is no magic we look better in heels.
kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the *yutulu* book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
Kitten heels are not practical for me, and I do like to wear sweatshirts. How would I style a sweatshirt with more comfortable shoes.?
I would like hints on how to look good in crewnecks. That's because in winter they are the only tops i am confy in, it is soooo cold in here 😅
I heard a designer day once "crew necks look good on no one, ever!". I'm sure that's not 100 percent true, but it does make me step back a bit from the crew :-)
In my opinion, the wide leg jeans are too short on you. They should be about 2-3” longer.
I agree! They look like they shrank, or are meant to be worn with flats.
Can you do a video for how to look stylish when pregnant?
Thanks for all your tips and tricks really has helped figure out why some clothes don’t work for me and why others do!
WOW! You are a master at elongating the body. I’m 5’10 and I utilize all your tips.
Can you show how to wear more cropped jackets and shirts. Love them but not sure how to style them as a petite size 12
I still love my LV reverse monogram *yutulu* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

Great advice, beautiful tapered clothes. Even though I stand 5 feet tall, I simply cant wear high heeled shoes, never comfortable for me.
Ciao i must say, on 1 version better high jeans and longer for 4~5 cm to longate even more otherwaise jeans looks cut shorter.
I agree! The jeans look short and the low rise...
Outfit #1: I don't think the wide leg jeans look better and the belt cuts you in half.
What about if we don’t want to wear belts because I don’t have a flat tummy? Also how to dress if we can’t wear heels.
Please, tell me I can look taller without heels. I cannot go around working and doing my job in kitten heels, no way.
I want to know this ..I can no longer wear any type of heels. Also pointy shoes... I've wide feet and they are so uncomfortable. I find fashion influencers don't know the answers to this as they are so often beautifullybthin
You can try low wedge shoes or loafers. They make shoes with 1 inch block heels too
Really effective examples! Your videos are very helpful
I don't think a belt would flatter a very short waisted petite. My short waist creates many new problems in finding styles that help me look proportional.
What about if you have a mom pooch...i cakt really accentuate my waist
Please show how to look good in lounge wear and comfy clothes. I can’t always wear heels. Am a busy mom and also am always cold. I Cz t switch to off the shoulder short sleeved shirt
Maybe find a v neck sweatshirt and tuck part of it into your jeans. Wear loafer shoes with 1 inch block heels.
Great idea!!
Thank you for this awesome video!
Thank you sooo much, Ms Chi!! It is the most concise and helpful video on the topic😍😍
I have the exact same height and body type. These videos are so helpful
I guess Im the only one here that thinks ALL the after outfits are so much better. Its so great seeing this done side by side. Love your videos and the transformations each time I view a video of yours. Now I need to remember these tips and practice them more! Keep it up, Chi! ❤
I so love your videos and suggestions. Many thanks.
Just watched your video on bangs from 2 years ago ~ thanks❤
Just subscribed. Thanks for all your wonderful tips.
I see you often recommending a belt, but you also said "no belt" if you're an apple, and the tummy is a little bigger. So skip the belt for outfit #1?
Where have you been my whole life….. learning so much
In love with the first one❤
You do such a great job with your videos! 💐
Honestly, I'm not convinced about such wide trousers. I think I look better in straight ones, provided they are ankle-length. But you look very good in these outfits. 🙂

I love this advice! ❤❤❤❤
Yess thanks
. Much appreciated❤
I’m not short for a woman at 5 foot 8 inches but I always think that shorter people tend to suit more clothes than I do.
Can you make a video how to flatter a long neck, long torso short legs petite triangle shape woman? Thanks Chi for all your research ❤
The tan shoes are 😍
Love the wide legged jeans ❤❤
Just love your videos!
Really helpful video, thank you do much ! Do you know what your Kibbe body type is ?
I'm 4ft 9, pear shape what ideas have you for me?
Can you show us stylish but comfortable shoes. I just can’t wear heels or sling backs but want to look stylish
Great video! Thanks!!
Amazing transformation like this kind of video
But how you can wear the cashmere sweaters. I wouldn’t like to throw them! Suggestions please!
Petites can be Only Short ,NOT small and thin. These videos Never address that issue. Some need a size 14 or 16 Not a 2 or4
Off shoulder cannot be worn by inverted triangle body shape
I love your videos so much❤❤
But i have a question: what is wrong with looking short?😅
So how I’m going to wear a shoulder neck shirt to work in the winter
you are not style changer
but mine life changer
love uu yrr❤❤
So how to wear the crew neck sweaters? And loafers?
What are the before jeans? They are cute too!
Amei todas as bolsas lindas e de muito bom gosto.Parabens *yutulu* 😘😘😘
Love this!❤❤❤
The wide leg pants look too short ?
Not many of us look good or appropriate with an off the shoulder top. Or can wear heels every day.
Love your videos
Your videos help me alot thanks for your videos I'm short as well 4'11
Where’d you get that belt?
Thank you❤

Flaring ang long pants or jeans makes petite women look taller
I hate crew necks. I simply will not buy them anymore. V neck is much more flattering and so are shorter tops. Clothing designers and manufacturers need to LISTEN to this.
There is outfit transformation, but no style. Sometimes too much focus on proportions can distroy style.
I love the transformations!!!
Connecticut here
I'm 5' 😊
I love your videos. Kisses from Brazil.
The heals don't go with the casual look of the jeanz
Not everyone can wear a belt though. Some of us have a pooch or mom tummy🫤
It’s all fun and games until someone has to walk through a snow storm
Thebfirst one
I love *yutulu* that on the butterfly bag it says auguri / tanti auguri which means happy birthday
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏
*yutulu* Bolsa réplica 1:1 can imagen reflejada, resistente y resistente al desgaste. Me gusta mucho.
Great video, thanks!!!
