I cannot believe how much your channel has improved. Even this arrangement and exposition of content is fantastic but the first video of yours that I saw was your most recent video on the *very* thorough history of the CRAY super computers and the only thing that blew my mind more than how well produced it was, was the fact that you don't have millions of subscribers. You're well on your way and as soon as the algorithm catches onto what it has, your channel is going to explode. Here's to your first million in advance. Congratulations 😊
It's 2022 and I still use a Blackberry Q10 phone. And I'm watching this on a BlackBerry Key2 (with Android OS).

I supported a lot of BES servers from about 2005-2010. I watched BES go from a tight, easy to manage, efficient server product to a jumbled mess of crap that was impossible to support.
I've talked to a few ex-RIM coders, and it seems like at some point RIM got taken over by MBAs, who promptly made life absolute hell for the senior coders. So they left. Leaving behind a whole pile of new-hire junior coders who...well...did the best they could.
People love to blame Android or iPhone for Blackberry's demise, but I think it was more cultural - if the senior coders hadn't left, and BES continued to be a good product, we folks supporting BES would have still been pushing it on our customers. Instead, we were doing everything we could to convince corporate customers to move to ActiveSync so we could uninstall BES.
Shame, really. I still miss the BB's keyboard. I could type almost as fast on that thing as I can on a normal KB. Certainly much faster than I can manage on a touchscreen KB.
But now, other than their patents, they're just footnote in the history books. Yet another company who were special until they hired a team of non-technical MBAs to ru(i)n the place.
My ex swore by Blackberry Phones. I swore at them! I couldn't work them at all - and I think that swivelly ball thing wore out eventually. I think you should do a rise and fall of the CD, and a Betamax vs VHS video - these videos are great!

Switched from a flagship Android phone to a Blackberry Passport a month ago just for fun. BB10 OS is impressively slick - too bad they just didn't know how to market to the crowds :(

I guess he took your advice. If you haven't seen his new stuff, do yourself a favor and check *all* of it out. It's brilliant.
Blackberry are just like Nokia, they won't use Android OS on their phone because they think that "Android only a temporarily trend, after that people will forget Android", now ? they start producing an Android phone, but damages is already done and what they do today is too little, too late.
