I'm so happy, on our tour we passed by this building on a random detour, and wondered what it was. By some weird twist of fate I saw the thumbnail and recognised the structure as the one we talked about wanting to explore! it looks way too secure though to investigate properly. Thanks for the drone footage, now we know what we were looking at :) Hope this building has some future left!
@@rolhoreis6187 Yes I remember back in the 60's tuning in to listen. We lived just up the coast at Peterhead. Grandad was a fisherman and knew what they were talking about. Always wanted to visit when it was still active.
I remember when my dad worked offshore in the 70’s, phone calls home used to come through here. Always found it interesting that the big sloping windows faced more inland rather than out to sea.
It would have been so cool if you could have flown the drone in the open door on the roof and had a look around inside mate
Route one to loosing your drone! I agree tho! There are some internals taken a couple of years back by a local newspaper reporter, - online somewhere.
Been past this thing so many times and always with a "I wonder what that is in there". Good to see it up close.
Lots more info on this interesting building online.

Aparently a business plan exists to turn it into a distillery??!!
What is that music?
I am fascinated by abandoned buildings. If walls could talk!
It must have been something to see in its prime.
👍😎
reflection of mid-century modern architecture . would have been nice to see it when new . good choice of music ... great bass line . thanks
