When pricing gets better I think Zen 5 efficiency will be more appreciated. Having 7700x performance using way less power is amazing. It is just way too expensive.
@@barcodebear I’m putting it in a Formd t1 case so the power draw to performance ratio is exactly what I was looking for. I will be doing an even split between productivity work and gaming so the 9700X was a no brainer even though the 7800X3D was pretty tempting.
@@Jtytwister yeah basically same scenario for me. I game a ton but also need something that I can comfortably edit videos and use blender on, so it seemed like a no brainer to me too
Oh, I also have 9700, Intel i7 9700K
Which motherboard did you use? And the same GPU?

I bundled the 9700X at Micro Center and got it for $190. Not mad about it at all.
@Jtytwister same, everyone online seems real angry with the 9700x but when I consider the price I got it for at micro center I think it's a steal...

Why did you spend the MSRP of a 4090 on a 4080 Super?
not the first live build but cool.
You have different cooler on the begining, than what you realy are using.
