I was using the L12 Ghost on my FormD T1, but I've upgraded to a 4080 Super, so my clearance now for my cooler is only 48mm. I managed to find an all copper cooler and replaced the fan with a 92mm Noctua. Performance wise, I don't really see much of a heat increase, but it is, of course, louder.

How much gap between the fan and the brick wall is needed? An IS-55 would only have about 10mm of space, whereas smaller and less performant cooler might actually perform better because there is more volume above it to pull air.

I was put off by that as well, but it seems that some CPU coolers/fans mitigate this issue, based on this video, no?
why not compare it to wraith prism?
I wouldn't recommend going out and getting one for this CPU, at one point they came with the R7s but that's no longer the case. Also, it doesn't fit in the case- it's a pretty tall cooler for only having a 92mm fan.
😂😂😂 no thanks.
For 67cm cooler, you should try the new id cooling is-67 xt.
On my radar!
I think I will just stick to ATX. This whole thing seems complicated
LOL rly?
