I've been very lucky to see her on stage quite a few times. In this role she is exquisite and beyond compare for the purity of her dance combined with her artistry. I saw these 2 in March, their only performance sadly, and they reached a whole other level even compared to this. They didn't seem of this world.

My favourite. Black costumes against a black background ! All you can see of Vadim is his head bobbing around. I’m so tired of this ! Edit - Nela is, as always, superb. I’m sure Vadim was as well
@@Sunflower_vally yes. This video is fine. But there are SO many videos of Polunin in black on black and all I can see is a bobbing head. It's just became a trigger for me when I see ballet dancers in all black against a black background. Obviously Odille is fine because you can see her legs. Just a bit of a personal rant
@@lucianaleiva518 Well said Luciana. Anyway, the Mariinsky's Swan Lake is very good of course but the Royal Ballet's production is sublime, especially with Nunez and Muntagirov who have both received international awards for their roles. This Alexey Bezobrazov is just being a parochial dickhead.

Swan Lake is such an incredibly poignant ballet, the music and the dance really painting a beautiful picture of love's power in its vulnerability.

I don't see the issue. I can see him perfectly. I'm sure you are just overreacting as you are just used to the blue costumes in other productions
