@@damo5350 i'm a north fan, seen my fair share of free kicks paid against my team fair or not.. so it seemed pretty consistent with the rest of the season
What a game. 4th quarter was HECTIC!!! I’m glad Saints won. They were impressive. Their best is very entertaining. One of the best games of the year. I hope this is the start of something special for them. Looking forward to watching them in 2025.
Saw this crazy stat from the AFL Since 2002, the Blues have won their final game of the Home and Away season on only two occasions and both of these wins were by just one point (in 2004 and 2013).
This hurt for a full hour until Port won and all the pain went away. Rollercoaster of emotions. Glad the Blues were competitive with the major outs they had.
I was following it live; where I live it was the middle of the night. When the game ended, at around 05:00, I just couldn’t believe we had lost. Fortunately Port gave us a hand.
Pretty standard from a scumbag Carlton fan, even Collingwood fans have more class than this lot. Can’t wait for Brisbane to bury this dead football club
Considering St Kildas late surge of wins to end the season that would be so agonisingly true. Hopefully they can keep winning and not take the foot off the pedal for a single moment next year.
@dylanbanks3656 well admittedly the Saints fans have been given false hope by late season victories after shocking seasons over quite a few recent years surely some of their die hards must be sick of those results which result in hope for the next season then it's recycled again.
Bloody rigged 9-1 Stkilda'as way and many more missed or paid that cost us goals . That's all behind us But umps need to explain this . Too many inconsistent decisions
@@isakketsakidis6636it was pathetic that they chose to hide the fact that they had to even up the free kicks so nobody would complain about the bs calls that were going against Carlton.
How ironic is it that Carlton fans are complaining about umpiring 🤣, funny how different you feel when your teams not getting all the frees for the first time all year. The cheque must’ve bounced before the game from Carlton to the umpires
@@paddywantspats It was poor umpiring all together. The Saints for three quarters of footy had more than double of the Blues freekicks by the end of the third it was 8-16, and I believe in the second or first quarter they had all the free kicks and Carlton had none. Then for some reason the Blues get 9 freekicks in the last quarter to the Saints 1. It appears like the umps were covering up the mistakes/ one sided umpiring and the just did the same thing to other side or both sides genuinely just gave that many frees away.
one of the best games of footy i've watched as a neutral
Yep. One of the best games of the year. Saints have been involved in at least 3 of them
I’m guessing you’re not considering the pathetic umpiring.
@@damo5350 Carlton had some questionable calls against them, but they also got a soft 50 later and more frees later when they had the momentum

Despite the fact Carlton still make it, the Saints went out with a bang for their season.
You can never truly count them out.

First time seeing Ashton Moir. He looks like he’s gonna be a gun!

That bastard who threw a water bottle at the goal umpire should be banned for life, charged, fined and forced to do community service.
