The Chapel on the Wall 2021

Another treasure in the east of England is St Peters Chapel on the Dengie Peninsula just south of Bradwell, Essex.
Built well over a thousand years ago on the site of an abandoned Roman fort, the half mile walk from the nearest car park is only the start of the treat.
Saltwater marshland, woods. WW2 defences and quiet beaches make this a great 'off the beaten track' destination!
