For really good oven wings start them on a low temp of 225 for 30 minutes then hit them with a high heat of 425 for around 40 minutes. You'll get a wonderful crunchy skin with a juicy flavorful wing
I like to cook them until they're crispy and caramelized then sauce them and then put them back under the broiler to make the sauce all gooey and caramelized then take them out and give them a bit more sauce

My mother bought a chicken and. as was common those days, it (the chicken, not my mother) had a load of pinfeathers all over it. She had a lightbulb-over-the-head moment and retrieved the Schick and took care of the offending feathers in just a couple of minutes. Was a bit confused on the oven baked. You said 40 or so minutes at about 400 F, flipping at 20 minutes. Did you skip the flipping? The video kind of made it seem like you pulled them out after 20 minutes and then put them straight under the broiler for 5-7 minutes.
If the smoker is operating correctly you really shouldn't see a ton of noticeable smoke. A ton of white smoke looks cool (i guess) in peoples UA-cam videos but is a sign that something is wrong
We bought a camp chef grill. We only see smoke when we set it on high smoke. If you listen to the background it sounds like a mini jet. Good stuff, we use competition blend.
As a Buffalonian these are not Buffalo chicken wings. And we never call them Buffalo wings. They are simply chicken wings or "wings". Deep fried and covered in Frank's hot sauce with some butter and shaken. The less butter the hotter. That is it. These look good but they are not Buffalo style wings at all.

When making sauce like that, don't let it boil. Once the butter breaks, the sauce goes from creamy to oily. You wanna keep the butter emulsified.
