Hey great video! I wanted to ask how did you actually get the tank out of the boot. I have removed all nuts and hose from below and also the fuel cap and rubber seal as you have - but I am have difficulty taking the tank off the four studs and feeding the fuel filler pipe through the hole, seems like the pipe gets in the way! Help please :)
Hi and thank you for your comment! It was a long time ago but if I remember correctly the fuel tank was glued on the back side so I had to give it a little push to unstick it. Then I think that I inserted the filling pipe little bit more in to her opening and then I got the opposite side out first. I am not completely sure but you should try for your self. If this dos not work try to pull the tank all the way back and if you can take the pipe out probably you will be able to get the rest of the tank out as well. I know that it looks that is not going to come out but with little bit of a play is going to come out eventually. First off all you have to get it out of the studs if it is very stuck you can use a crowbar or something to gently separate it from the body of the car. Good luck I hope it will work out!
@The Amateur thanks for the reply! I've already released it from the glue but Yeah, it's the filler pipe that's the biggest issue. I'll give your advice a go and hopefully I'll be successful! Thanks again for getting back to me :)
