Yams lookin pretty slick with that Revit jacket and that freedom edition paint
My x1 was my favorite motorcycle. I must disagree with the thunderstorm evo platform that the torque made it rip out of the corners instead of dropping gears on the 4cyl bikes.
The Buell S2 was the most amazing handling bike I have ever owned. Telepathic handling. Untethered from HD, this bike has gotta be amazing.
The 1125 motor was Erik’s design just manufactured by Rotax in Australia. I am sure it still shares a lot with the 1190.
I have been waiting for an American sport bike! I hope the next generations of this bike will improve.
Looks beautiful and calm there. So much traffic now that it's not that fun riding a bike now.
Finally someone big does a video on them again
Yammie noob's diction brings back so many memories 😂
I met a guy whom was proud of his beast of a Buell bike. He was revving the engine talking about how powerful what magic it was. It sounded beastly and that was about 7 or 8 years ago roughly. It was a sport bike. Yes I had to ask him about it when I saw that Buell name on the side.
If I could find one for 15k, I’m buying one. 20k base for an old school bike is mind blowing.
And it gets spanked by a K5 or a 18 year old R1😂😂
@@hexagonosaurus5848idc, I still want one
That whining sound off throttle is awesome.
Realistic review. And dialed in on the track with a minimum of preparation it reveals its full potential. Oh and switch that TC off 😉
Great to see you guys here
It's awesome watching you guys cover my bike!! It was great riding the Hammerhead this summer!
Coolest bike yet in my opinion. Love that pant job. Love the name. Sounds amazing. Great vid!
Only ever seen in person 1 buell, it was at a ducati store in Rome last month. Always been stunning bikes and ive always wanted 1.
My cousin raced for both Buell and EBR. He won the Daytona Sportsbike Class for Buell, and then race for EBR on the 1190.
Danny Eslick? I had a 2008 1125R. I was able to take off from a dead stop in 6th gear. That bike was awesome.
@@MrApiiinr yes.
I was just watching your cousins Daytona races, right on
@@monkmoto1887 I have'nt heard if he will be there this year yet. Hope so.
I havent watched the track video yet but rode a Buell on track for 100+ hrs & want to mention an advantage of the radial rotor, when you brake in a corner the bike doesn't want to stand upright...as much.
How is the braking system in comparison to others?
The buell are amazing bikes I have an 1190 and can say enough how well it rides and how great it feels
Best review of a buell I have seen! Getting me really excited for the super cruiser. I'll go into debt for one
Y’all should hear one of these things with an aftermarket pipe in person. 🤤
Yammie Noob; "It doesn't have angle adjust sensors, or extra icu. Because it's cable throttle."
Also Yammie Noob: "I love how low tech this bike is!"
Janus: 👀
I wonder how it would feel compared to my RC51… talking v twin super bike
The idle is perfect
I love the whining sound it has. You can especially hear it when it goes down the RPM range. Kinda sounds like it has straight cut gears.
I love the whine this thing makes - reminds me of my Africa Twin.
Reminds me of the RC8R
This is one of the coolest bikes. Big American v-twin in a sport bike package
Oooo a 2014 EBR 1190 with new plastics! Sick
Right? It’s exactly the same
How are they going to just use the left over frames that they used during their run with Harley and not expect us to notice!?
Glad buelle is back. I ride a fireblade and not really into cruisers........ but I'd love to have one of their new super cruisers coming out.
The Buell is the Battle-Ax to the rest of the bikes being sabres.
no, Harley is Battle axe.
Buell is a blade
EB played an axe baby! And wields one as well.
@@MUCKFOOT399
Talking of quirks:
# Perimeter disc - still thinkable
# Fuel inside frame - now that's out of the box,
And iirc, Buell was the first bike to have underbelly exhaust
im sold, this might be my dream bike now. I wonder how this would perform in the superbike class as a race bike, I hope they are still making them in a few years so i can be fully ready for something like this.
Maybe club races at best. Wsbk? Hell no. They are only 2 seconds off of GP bikes in most circuits sooo NO.
Terribly
It is underpowered compared to modern bikes. This was good in 2014 but not in 2023
Omg finally a video on one of these new ones
Damnit he is short shifting that thing. It feels unnatural to wind out a twin to 11k but you got to feel it! Pulls your damn arms off
No engine instincts.
Great video Yam! I’ve always liked the Buell’s and what they have coming out soon. Can’t wait to see your video of the Buell on the track. 🇺🇸
man that thing sounds AWESOME
I agree the older buells vibrated like a Harley. My buddy had a 2006 kickstand vibrated off while riding.Try that nightmare!throttle stuck on him and it was full throttle too!Not impressed at all with it and he sold it shortly after.Good idea saved his life I'm sure.
I got ya beat: my front fairing shook off. But that 95 S2 handled so well, I still have dreams about it.
