I also have 13 g37 coupe for that reason when first model car is build there’s always things that could be better & improve the last build is always the best model everything that was wrong with first models are fix. just like gasket failure on g37 by 2012 it was fix with making it a metal gasket replacing the failing rubber
What kind of hose is necessary for catch can back to intake? The 3/4" heater hose that I used collapses. Heat from the engine makes the hose pliable, and the intake's vacuum pressure causes it to collapse.
Hey #GeorgeNava what year is your g37? And have you had or know about the dreaded timing cover oil galley gasket defect? I have a 09 seden. How many miles on your G? I'm lookn into doing the catch can and wanted to know so far have you noticed improving throttle response and fuel trim differences? Thanks! Soopa fresh ride dawg. Also did you have to replace your pcv check valves with new ones with the kit or do you delete the valves all together? Thanks again.
WHAT IS THIS CATCH CAN FOR? Why is it needed? What does it do? It would be great if you, or anyone explain the reason for installing it, to a perfectly good running car. Not too much of a smart connection here, at all.
Oil catch cans catch a term called blow by which is oil, gasses, and passing by the piston rings during combustion. There is a system called the "Positive Crankcase Ventilation" system, also known as the PCV. This system is what catches the gases, oil, and moisture previously stated and runs them through the intake manifold to get burned again, mostly air. It's a efficient system when working correcly. Now in sports car of heavily modified cars come into play, your car will produce more of this "blow by" because of how much harder it is working. The Oil catch can catches the blow by such as oil and oil vapor from getting back into the intake manifold because eventually it will. It is mostly a maintenance/supporting mod for high performance engines. It's a nice mod, not needed, but will make your engine a little bit more efficient and just basically nice to have.
Did you order that one from the link then a separate catch can because you needed 2 or does that link come with 2 because I have a HR and need 2 so if you can help me out thanks
George question with the catch oil on Amazon did you put your car information to see if it’s compatible because it say it doesn’t fit my g37 but can I still use it

George Nava 💪🏽💪🏽🥵
I really appreciate you Bro, thanks for all your tutorials and keeping the G community motivated.
What size "L bracket" did you end up using the 2inch or 3 inch? Thanks in advance, btw, great content!
Great job bro, glad you posted the link too. That's been on my bucket list 🤦🏽♂️
Looks good bro! I went with the mishimoto catch cans. Can't complain 🤙🏽
You installed the inlet and outlet hoses WRONG for one of the sides.
It’s still wrong on his car to this day….
Which side lol? The passenger
explain
Are the can still holding up?
So the “out” on the passenger can goes to the engine where the “out” on the drivers can goes to the manifold?? I thought they were to be symmetrical.
I need those headlights
I’ve had my oil catch can from amazon for like a month or 2 now Lol I’m just lazy to do it 😂
What these mainly for is better for car
Where did you get the headlights broths the are fire 🎉🔥
I’m not too sure where he got his from but I’m pretty sure they custom made
I have a 2013 g37 coupe i just did an oil change on mine after 4k miles , didnt burn any oil. Stayed at 5quartz
2013 is one of the best years of the G37
I also have 13 g37 coupe for that reason when first model car is build there’s always things that could be better & improve the last build is always the best model everything that was wrong with first models are fix. just like gasket failure on g37 by 2012 it was fix with making it a metal gasket replacing the failing rubber
First 2008 g37 model is good because of the transmission and the 2013 is good because they fixed all the flaws
What is the benefit of doing the oil catch cans?

Did you go back to oem?
@@Bose3.7 No, I found a hose with a higher heat tolerance and used that. I needed a hose that was made to be used close to the engine.
Where did you get that steering wheel from?
Ur car was shown on the g37 vid of fitment industries
Yes 🙌🏼🙇🏼♂️
I have a loud hissing noise coming from the catch can, how to fix that?
How does do you pour out the old oil? Just ordered this. Doesn’t seem to twist off??
