I'm an Aquaholicholic, I can't go a day without watching one of your videos, no jumpcuts in speech, you show boats well and efficiently, keep up the great videos.
There can't be many channels... I can think of any actually, which are so consistently reliable, with objective content... and superbly presented, I have never been disappointed and really, really look forward to each one with a tour that I can get lost in... for the uninitiated, when you're watching, pause some times and take a breath. Perfect. You really have this down as an art-form. They give me great pleasure. Never any hyperbole. Just reassuring appraisal. Long may it continue. Many thanks, Mike
First time watching this guy.. like this review style. Well informed, straight to the point. No messing about with unnecessary gibberish to fill time. Earned a subscribe.
Another great video sir.....I just recently purchased a 27ft boat on the Norfolk Broads for the sum of £2.5k-needs a paint but won’t take me long. It a 4 birth equipped with hot water, shower, toilet, cooker, Webasto hot air heating, powered by a Inboard reconditioned Perkins 4107. Many years of fun for my family. You should do a video on my boat and demonstrate to the people you haven’t got to be rich to own a boat.
@Sophus E Magill Eskimos seem to do pretty well with it. lol Saw a video once with about a 25 foot sea going kayak and a family of 5 came crawling out of it... haha it looked like one of those tiny circus clown cars where the clowns just keep coming out. :)
What I truly like about this particular yacht and it's layout is that it's both elegant and cozy (home-like feeling) at the same time. Every yacht should have a cosy atmosphere embedded within it. Unfortunately, when you get to the larger yachts, it seems as though it starts missing out on the cozy feeling.
Hi Nick. Another great Aquaholic tour. Appreciate walkthrough on a smaller yacht. Boat shows keep you very busy and its better to have the tour without loads of people aboard. . . Dont they realise you're a celebrity.
Thank you for straightening that wheel, it was buggin' me! That high gloss wood is a nice classic touch and the boat seems to have a lot of room and features for the size of it. I really dig that sliding roof and the glass doors of the saloon are cool too. Nice tour, thank you!
Thanks, Nick, for a fine video review of this great boat. For a 46.5 foot boat this Fairline Targa 45GT is magnificent, manufactured to a high standard and compact enough for ease of handling if you are light handed. If you wish to securely house a Williams Minijet 3 seater RIB tender and want to have fun and/or indulge in bit of water skiing it is perfect. If not, it is worth looking at the Fairline Targa 48GT, yes, it is 2.5 feet longer but from a cabin configuration, refrigeration option and general storage facilities it is far better. I am a sucker for Fairline and Princess boats and if I had to choose between these two great UK manufactures it would be difficult.
Great tour (as always) of a lovely looking boat. I’m fairly certain deck saloons are my preferred type of boat and this looks like one of the best. Favourite part of the tour; gotta be the straightening of the wheel 😁
That is one beautiful looking boot. I'm impressed. Great quality video as always. You should know that you make my day every time I wake up and find one of your uploads. XOXO from San Diego, California!
Madam L'Eclaire And if we get a third person with another $45, then we might have enough for one of us to get a ticket to cruise for maybe two hours on one! 🤞
Whoops ! Missed the galley. I've always wondered why the space under the steps on these boats are seldom used, but to find an engine under the top step..... genius. Love your videos Nick.
Nice boat for the price. I assume you could have a high/low table put in that lower lounge area to make that a temporary sleeping area. It's good to see some of these boats without a fly bridge. A fly bridge is simply another area to clean sea water from.
Everyone must make fine boats but they each have different layouts and this one I like a lot. An interior galley is one of my favorite features on small yachts.
superb....nick...you and marianne are a breath of fresh air...i didnt even like boats untill i started watching your vids...love your walks and house vids..subscribed to your other channels too...we visit torque twice a year and have walked your walk in the morning on more than one occasion...if i had the dosh it would have to be a nord over a fleming...lol
I would like you to do a short vlog of the pro’s and con’s of both shaft drive and ips pod drive. With the joy stick system at the helm station. I would find this very interesting.
Pretty good for 45 and open at that. I wonder if you could have the engines as sort of outboards but cylinders tugged under the rear with a straight shaft on and more or less eliminate the engine room. Then counter the rear mass with a keel mass up front. It might also naturally isolate the sound somewhat.
If i will win the lottery I would by a boat for me and a bigger one for you. I’m more a car guy but thanks to your channel I found love in yachts! Cheers Mate
I was thinking how many look around the boat like that over 7 days of the show 700 to 800 people maybe. You have 10 minutes and almost 100,000 have a look. Makes sense to kick off all those others:)
Nice review as usual. Really like this boat but it felt cramped for £500k+ especially the engine bay. Liked the sliding hardtop that was a great idea and well executed.
With that range, and Limited galley, this is a really nice dayrunner, or weekender. That can be said of all Fairline yachts. They've focused on that market segment. They're producing three lines that speak more to the owners' personal style than budget. And as a result, they do this kind of yacht better than almost everyone else.
@@AQUAHOLIC So would I. 70 % of the time it is me and my wife and for the rest of the time 4 people is perfect for this size of boat. Aren't we lucky there are thousands of boats out there for every need and taste. For a 45 that is real good use of space. But hey, this time you did not show me the Miele!
I'm going to say like this mister aquaholic. You Make Me Feel, Me, and I'm the viewer, you make me feel like I am actually walking with you inside the yacht when you are representing these boats here on UA-cam. You got a talent like no other and you are second to none.
There might not have been much to the galley but a review of it might have been nice and the hatches in the lower deck floor? Were they covered in the previous video? Can't remember.
Another pleasure craft tour, another pleasure watching your video ,,,great Nick, 👍🏻I think you are even more relaxed now when giving us tours, It is a wonderful way to help people see these beautiful boats without someone trying to give you the hard sell, thank you 🤓👍🏻⚓️🍺and yes see you on the next one!!!
Interesting to compare this and the two 48's you filmed back last July in Swanwick (and the Princess F45 for that matter). Looking on the Fairline site, there is an option to switch the Master and Guest Cabins and indeed a third cabin layout. Theres also a nice view into the tender garage - and it looks like the whole floor is removable or possibly hinged (or both), which would make the engines very accessible.
A stunning boat - I love the dark wood....however from purely an aesthetic perspective I think externally the Princess V40 looks a bit more attractive but that is a smaller boat (and I think substantially cheaper)....from an internal perspective the Fairline wins it....as an owner (only in my dreams of course) I wouldn't care as I would park next to the Princess and look at that in the marina from my more beautiful saloon!
Not bad for half a mill. I wouldnt add the third room because it than would feel to small. Like it is is just perfect for a couple and a occiasonaly a guest or two.
Great tour. You are awesome sir. Merry 7th day of Christmas and have a happy new year...it's 11:27 pm here, on new years eve, in Ireland, which is the Greenwich Time Zone like the UK.
Your right third cabin for sure. Lovely boat. Great weekend cruising. Or a week. Appreciate the OCD on straightening the wheel! Bet you reset microwave if someone didn’t clear cook time back to clock... just sayin
What a smashing boat, and I think I prefer this to the previous design. Nice to see Fairline bringing new designs to the market place. Nice boat, great review of it, well done.

You know you've watched too many videos of toys that you can't afford, when you think 520k is pretty cheap...
Hahahahahaha!!!
You’ve got a good point
I know, right? I keep watching these sub-£2m boat tours exactly like that!
:D
8 way fractional and suddenly it is cheap.

Yea, that soothed my OCD. 🙂
You read my mind
Can’t wait to win this lottery and scroll through you channel seeing what floats my boat
I've been doing that since he started. lol Good luck to you.
Same here. It's nice to dream.
If I win the lotto I'm flying him in to give me a tour.

For 45 feet that's a damn impressive layout! Good job by Fairline there.

Magic for a boat that size. Shows how much Fairline is at the top of their game.
That is a lot of boat for half a million, thank you for bringing it to our attention...Well done Nick!
My pleasure!
1:55. Love that continuous handrail on the left, going down into the cabin area!!

Hey there San Diego! :)
Beautiful boat with very efficient use of space.
That’s a fair bit tucked into a 45’ boat, very nice.
Same with the stern stateroom. The big window make a huge difference. Thinking lighter woodwork would work for me. Nice boat.
Great looking boat, I would have the dinette area on mine. High gloss wood sets it off nice. Well done Fairline, Cheers Nick
A nice boat and clever design to give the possibility of a 3rd cabin on a 45 foot boat 👍🏼
I’ve watched this one many times just dreaming. Love the Fairline. And if I find 500k in my laundry some hopeful day I’ll be buying this exact one!
"Yea, that closed top version is way better than the open top" I say with $45 in my bank account.
Almost there.
I've got $45 too, we can go halves 😆😆

Great idea: much better than squeezing in bunk beds and a bulkhead.
Much better experience when maneuvering the boat with a flybridge
