I always try to praise our two cats everytime they do what we want. They love to be praised, especially our boy cat Buddy, I see him visibly perk up when he comes inside and I tell him "good boy!" It's important never to even hint at any kind of punishment when bringing them in from outside - they need to see returning inside as completely positive with no hesitation or fear.
That's wonderful to hear how you praise and positively reinforce your cats!!

Hi ! Firstly -> thx for your video since I rly want to try to be a good cat mommy they help me alot (;
Secondly my cat( I have 2 , father and son and the son is the one making" problems " ) just won't stop peeing near the toilet although it's clean . I started talking to him -like literally tell him why it's not ok and he definitely doesn't pee that often anymore as he used to but he still does and although I use smell neutralizing sprays ( he is castrated) it does only help a little. Do you have any idea why he continues ? ( he is a pure house cat )

The amount of litterboxes can also be a factor. When you have 2+ cats, you should have one more litterbox than cat. 2 cats = 3 litter boxes. Try buying a litterbox and put it next to the toilet or at least in the bathroom if you can. Then clean the urine up with cat urine enzyme remover and spray NO MARKING spray on the toilet. If you meant it as a question, your sentence is missing a word and is incorrectly conjugated. If you meant it as a comment, the question mark (?) and question particle (Why) don't belong.
