Even though Engineer doesn’t trigger Murk-Eye, I totally see a fun comp with Murk-Eye triggers Engineer, so you can trigger one non-Murk-Eye end of turn you want to do a lot of times. With one Brann and one Drakkari, that’s already six end of turn effects before anything’s golden.
So far the only EoT that's worth triggering is Murk-Eye. Felbat needs the portrait to be worth anything and it still doesn't buff itself. Pokey is start of turn, so no blood gem scaling. Charlaga is a gem smuggler in this comp which again, gem scaling is needed.
Oh, actually forget I said that. Gem smuggler is a battlecry and engineer doesn't work on murk-eye. So currently there isn't any powerful effect it can activate.
That’s engineer, murkeye, Brann and drakkari + the battlecry you want engineer to trigger. 5/7 cards dedicated to just a battlecry effect. There’d only be a few niche cases where this is worth while. It’s the same issue murkeye murlocs isn’t as good as gillmother.
10:45 1. Reverber Drake 2. Murk-eye 3. Engineer 4. Drakkari 5.Bran 6. open you trigger murk-eye and place a ton of Echoing roar on your dragons. Engineer then triggers the end of turn of these dragons to get +2/+2. Because you can have multiple Echoing Roars this will scale so hard lategame.
I like that the dragons now atleast have some synergy between their twp build. Because in this meta you have all the start of combat effects and then just Kaly as a stand-alone. Now you atleast get to trigger ypu EOT effects with a battlecry
Murkeye on Effecient Engineer can be used to make a reaaally fun Menagerie build with Lightfang! As long as Lightfang is the only other end of turn effect on your board you could in theory keep the engineer, the murkeye and two other tribes to ensure it always hits the Lightfang. Get the Drakari and Brann and you proc Lightfang up to 4 times making your end of turn effects add like 20/20 to the tribes on your board. I am SO looking forward to this! Also very happy to see Hatespawn removed. =)
It's funny that they're buffing Siren this week just to have it removed on the next update. Dragon update honestly excite me more than Naga, kudos on making changes on cards like that of Electric Synthesizer, hope to see more of those in the future. Gotta say, I got a chuckle out of the Yu-Gi-Oh! reference And thanks for not picking an overused example such as Nirvana High Paladin or Endymion, the Mighty Master of Magic (it has gotten tiring over the years.

Changes to dragons are interesting. There is a lot of options to create pretty powerfull builds, but not too overpowered (I think :D). Making nagas more spell centric is good and finally not too reliant on Zesty with with Deep Blue. One thing I'm afraid Nadina will be as annoying as before.
If you have all these minions golden: rylak(reborn), 2x efficient engineer, moira, drakari, Charlie 2x, 4x, 9x, 3x, 2x =432 blood gems on each minion edit: with golden reborn bird you get 1728
Has Baron ever been rotated out? I played in the early days and just came back recently and was surprised to see it still around. Card is so busted lol
Baron actually got buffed a while back (it's Titus Rivendere now) and it now says "Trigger an additional time" which means it stacks with multiple on board
Engineer looks busted Nightbane going to 5 might make it a lot harder to setup tho, especially jumping to anohter nightbane. Plus, Dragons now have other ways to scale. I really like these changes, can't wait to see more :)
I like dragons but I'm not sure how to feel about them bringing back Nightbane. I'm hoping Kalecgos is viable without needing two golden ones along with a golden Brann
9:49 ok, now immagine "Reverber Drake" and "Efficient engineer" with "Rylak" and poets to keep the buffs... ...AND you can use drakkari or Bran or Titus to get more buffs 💀
I believe the groundbreaker buff is improved by spells, not its stats. Fungal says "has +2/+2 for every spell played this game", whereas this naga says it gains +1/+1 after you play a naga, which is then improved by every 4 spells you played this game
The cannoneer naga is going to be super busted especially in quilboar lobbies especially because the buff is for the entire game and not next match. It's the tier 7 dragon without the cleave effect
how is doing 3-4 damage going to be good in quillboar lobbies? this would barely kill anything, this card looks like trash to me. play 40 bloodgems and this will deal 10 dmg to the target before it attacks, like, by the time you're doing that you're in lategame
The cleave effect is the good part... no? And the dragon scales 1:1 with its own attack, this guy does 1/3 of the tier 7s effect, assuming you cast 400 spells by turn 14. Idk man. It pings divine shields and kills small scam pieces, I think comparing it to obsidian ravager is insane.
@@matthewhartman1855 How is it insane? It's the only other unit with the effect of dealing damage on attack before hitting? And it will scale more than you seem to think considering it's a 4 drop. If I'm wrong just return to this thread I'll gladly retract my statement
@@th3ch0z3nHistorically typical Athissa boards scaled by around 200/200, the most spells played were probably in the elemental/pirate and give +1/+1 for each spell tavern 2 build, and the craziest highrolls went up to again +300/+300 with multiple buffers, so i think it's fair to assume that in a typical pop off game you will cast around 70 spells, that's like 18 damage late game. It doesn't scale with the minion's attack, only with cards played. Even if you cast 200 spells that's 50 damage. Do you really think dealing 50 damage is something you want to build around when you are playing 200 cards in a game man? It's a divine shield ping, or kill small taunt and retain own shield, nothing more.

Too bad dragons have SOC, not EOT
Loved the Akria slide being a related card!
Yeah! and It would've been better if he got the name right :3

I love the layout of these videos and the in-depth commentary. Great stuff
4:55 showy cyclist has such good art. I mean, IT'S A NAGA RIDING A MOTORCYCLE, how cool is that?!
It is also an Easter egg.
Right when I manage to quit - sees Nightbane -, they pull me right back in.
Arcane cannoneer with the blood gems cast twice can go insane
It's funny that they're buffing Siren this week just to have it removed on the next update.

Imagine triggering keltuzard with the battle cry dude on nightbane
WE ARE NOT READY LMAO
I think they'll remove KT.
Otherwise Nightbane will always be too strong in undead lobbies
Dang they brought back cannon? That's crazy
Thanks for going through the changes! Looking forward to your next educational video 🎉
thanks a lot for the great video as usual, I love the production quality and your thoughts!
Engineer next to murk-eye to trigger my charlga my goat
I really love your reveal videos - the relevant cards to the right are fantastic
Havent check yet but is there already an announcement when they will drop the update?
December 3 I think
@Mudskipek thank you good sir

Reverb drake + murk-eye + engineer would work tho right? «A friendly minion» counts itself also when triggered by murkeye?
Reverber using the handrail for his DDR, smh. WEAK.
So glad they brought back end of turn dragons, I always found that fun to play and was getting tired of the in-combat stuff
Little mistake on Akira , its type " Akria " in the video
Strategist has a Patient Scout feel to me in terms of when you’d buy it.
I loved razorgore!! Definetly going to try it out
As a rough estimate, I think you can play between 40-100 spells in a game.
You are the goat
Nightbane and Kel would also trigger with the end of turn dragons!!
Has Baron ever been rotated out? I played in the early days and just came back recently and was surprised to see it still around. Card is so busted lol

Nightbane was 5 for quite a while before it was removed initially, and it was still broken
@TheMirksta Oh I didn't know that had a longer break from the game 🙏
How will nightbane work with prophet?
I like dragons but I'm not sure how to feel about them bringing back Nightbane. I'm hoping Kalecgos is viable without needing two golden ones along with a golden Brann
Easter egg:
Showy Cyclists - Akira bike slide.
I can see Arcane Cannoneer scaling the free damage exponentially, otherwise the ability to scale makes no sense.
Showy Cyclist gives Stats to every Naga Groundbreaker only buffs itself
That Nightbane peekaboo
Nightbane, oh no
Engineer working on Murkeye would literally crash the game
Great always wanted to play battlecry, end of turn and start of combat/combat buff dragons.
Edit: Nagas seems good and fun
So when this update coming out?
Nightbane + poet dream is back baby! Had a game where my duo had 113mil damage on his units cause of that lmao
9:49 ok, now immagine "Reverber Drake" and "Efficient engineer" with "Rylak" and poets to keep the buffs...
...AND you can use drakkari or Bran or Titus to get more buffs 💀
Such a disrespect for crooner.. leaving it in its low
My stats record is on a nightbane , somewhere around 800000000 , without ketuthat
I believe the groundbreaker buff is improved by spells, not its stats. Fungal says "has +2/+2 for every spell played this game", whereas this naga says it gains +1/+1 after you play a naga, which is then improved by every 4 spells you played this game
Can someone explain the strirke oil refrence in every video. Is it actually good or a meme

No crooner😢😢😢
showye cyclist need too have taunt
Was getting really tired of naga playstyle. Every game i was forcing anything just to not play that boring tribe
