Thank you for the info and help with deck selection, i was playing the older decks all week and then when it's time to pick a deck to keep they were all completly different.
Dang dude this was lightning quick! Great stuff as always, thanks for this. These decks blow the old returner decks out of the water. I hope the video is useful to newer players. Based on what you said, I’m guessing we’re all going to see handbuff paladin on the ladder everywhere now lol
l have stopped playing hearthstone for a while but still following the expansion news. The great dark beyond looks pretty cool so I want to try it out. I wonder the loaner decks will update soon after the expansion drops or it will stay this set until the new mini set?
After scrolling through some patch notes and announcement, I found out the loaner decks will be updated at the new mini set(patch 31.4). And just like this set, they will have cards from the new expansion. I think I'll jump back in at the start of the expansion, wait till mini set come out just for new loaner is a bit too long.
Returning players are those who were inactive for at least 90 days, which is roughly 3/4 of the expansion. In the past, you had to complete a so-called “returning players experience”, but now just logging in is enough to get your shiny, new deck. After one of those two conditions is met, players get 6 temporary decks for free on log-in. Then exactly 7 days later they will have to choose one out of 6 to keep permanently.
Corpsicle Death Knight, Razzle DK, there is a tiny bit of Plague as well as some excavate cards in there. Also because it is Rainbow, you could make just one rune specific decks. It really has a lot of options.
If you lose two when the season resets it will count that as an unfinished arena run. Since the season resets it gives you the rewards from that set, and another arena ticket to replace the run they just reset. You usually get a pack, some dust/gold (i think) and the ticket. Hope this helps!

it is completely subjective. and both your experiences are not wrong. Pally is fast moving, ducking and moving. Druid is a little bit slower and very versatile no matter who your opponent is.
absolutely if you have no cards and no dust and you want to win games, pick pally. Warrior is not too hot on the meta, and that exact Warrior list will not play nice the further along you are on the ladder, at least right now.
@@quanthan1589 it has potential viability since this is a rainbow deck. Cards from this will fit in many new decks in the future, but as is, the pally one is greater for NOW. I would pick DK if I hated Pally lol
based on where everything is today, tie between Paladin (because of how strong it has been for months) and Shaman, for how many deck archetypes are consistently above 50% win rate. With the new expansion, there may be something busted that throws this conversation out of the water with a class or play outlier, but those are the two I would choose from I think.
That Shaman list has some evolve, that Patches card, and the Cookie card, so many archetypes to explore. It would not be my first pick, but if you are a fan of Shaman it will be good for you.
@@thisweekinhearthstone thanks for the advice. I’m down to either shaman for the tourism synergy, or just grabbing warrior bc I don’t have a copy of Reno yet. Do you think it’s worth burning a loaner deck essentially just for Reno?
i would not suggest burning the deck just for Reno. I would look for a deck that has the most potential to be split into pieces to make more than just one deck. The Warrior deck is fun. Reno Warrior is my absolute favorite but the win rate on it is low, and I would rather go after my collection and find 1600 dust to craft Reno but again, I could have many more cards than you. It all depends on your ability to do that. To break it down, if I am looking for FUN, and FUN is subjective, I am picking Warrior cause I love that deck. If I am looking for WINS, I am picking the Paladin. The rest is basically "how many decks could I potentially build with this breakdown of cards". Good luck in your choice!
Look way too good to be true :D but we'll see soon enough. The warrior deck would give like 7-8 free legendaries to a new player, and I don't think Blizz is gonna be that generous
My highest win rate is actually RnG shaman 😂 kinda nuts ngl. I lose most with hand buff. Which was my fav deck first starting next was warrior then druid... priest felt like cancer and DH out right sucked 😂. RnG shaman is just too fun ppl usually payout the entire match too... unlike handcuff where they quit immediately after seeing anything over 20/20 drop...
Why do you keep saying that handbuff pally is by far best deck for winning? Multiple shaman decks perform as well if not better at certain ranks than handbuff paladin. Also pirate DH is not just "meh" it is a tier1/2 deck that can certainly hit high legend.
If you are looking for a low cost deck, that provides multiple opportunities to refine into a different deck using most of the same cards, that has a proven track record of wins, and is super easy to pilot, I feel Pally is the deck. Just my opinion based on my experience. All the decks provided are good. I do not think Team Five would intentionally build a bad deck on purpose.
Subscribe or your loaner decks will only have Murloc Tinyfin in it

Just started playing hearthstone! Thank you for your videos, they’ve helped a bunch
Glad you like them! Got more for the newer/budget player coming soon. Welcome to the game!

I believe they were edited this year, will look to find out when the next edit will be. Is a good idea to check. Welcome back to Hearthstone!!!

@@Steve826z appreciate the find!
So conclusion is Warrior or Paladin?
Looking at the meta now, both of those are good options.
I always forget to play Arena - thanks for the timely reminder!
glad i can help.
Where did you find this link? Seems almost too good to be true... Wish I was a new player.
U can off 3 month and … suprise your wish completed😘
Community Manager posted it today on social media.
pirate is my favorite deck flavor and love hyper aggro, but dustwise i go death knight. (warrior is most dust, but i dont like the slow playstyle)
Agree the Warrior is the slowest of the three choices you made!
That exact pirate demon hunter deck is one of the best decks to get to legend in standard. no changes required
yeah but its the cheapest deck to make, so wouldnt recommend to choose it.
Is the loaner deck stil available today? I m a returning player...

Please tell which decks i can upgrade Death knight to if i pick death knight loaner deck because i like playing it

Can you explain why someone would want to lose 2 arena? Should they stop at 2? Sorry, I don't play arena but this sounded important.

@@thisweekinhearthstone Nice. Thanks.
Hello Sir I came back Saturday but I do not know how to get the loaner deck what is the path in order to get it?

I've been playing with them and hand buff for me is sweaty like I gotta focus hard but dragon druid easy just me or am I playing it wrong

Surely if you have no cards.. the fact handbuff paladin is all commons means you can just craft it? doesnt the warrior one have a million rares?

How about DK . Is it deck so far from the future?

Out of all of those decks, which do you believe will stay relevant in the meta for the longest?

Keep it up man, good video
Appreciate it
I run scummy elemental shaman, so I’ll likely grab the shaman deck for a few tech cards, unless anyone has a reason I should pick otherwise?
