Is there any use for clusters early game? I find the cost of three skill point just to access the cluster too costly and when we do get them my clusters don't compare to other nodes when pathing. When should I consider using them?
Using "~" when searching for cluster moda makes life a lot easier. For ex. you can just search "~enchant passive" to find the enchant mod straight away.
You can do "~enchant pass" to get smaller list of properties in the trade site, ~ is shift + above tab in certain keyboard layouts. Might want to put that into one of your universities, someone once told me on YT or reddit and the ~ is really usefull.

Great video, i just have a few questions. Whats a skill tree? Whats a socket? Corner thing? Whats a sion start? There are large medium and small jewels? How would one go about using more than one type? Medium and then a small? But not large? Whats an endurance charge? Max reiz? The jewels give you skills that you can passively use? I can only have Small jewels if there are 2 to 6, or 4 to 3? There are differences? You can have 9 jewels skills and still be okay? What does it mean to 'roll' a stat on an jewel? If i use a jewel that gives me 9 skills i have to spend life? Or take extra damage? Whats a vendor? And do they prefer an item to be a certain level? Will they be upset if its not high enough? So its worth it to have 10 to 12 large jewels, how do i put more than 2 or 3 jewels in a skilltree? Is there a class that has more slots? Whats a notable? Is a notable related to staff attacks or multiplier damage of fire time over? What is an item level? Why is it important? Why would something be 150 sea if its listed as chaos orb? But in all seriousness if someone doesnt even know what a cluster jewel is they might actually have some of these questions ziz, food for thought.
Yeah. Thats my case. I'm new to poe, and i dont have any answer about questions above. I manage to get few jewels but i never managed to insert any of them in my tree. After the "it expands your skill tree" the rest was complete gibberish. If the target audience is dummies, dont assume we master all vocabulary and all the the tools that were shown in here ( i know none of them). Thanks for the video though

There is one exception to the "you want the smallest large cluster jewel" and that's stat-stacking builds. You can get 16 of an attribute per point with +25/35% effect and T1 all attributes and T1 attribute. This is more efficient than any other source of attributes on the passive tree.
Quick tip about large clusters: save yourself from having to look in pob at passive placement or wasting currency, on 3 passive skill large clusters, the first and last skill will be on the right and left of the jewel location. I haven’t heard this from anywhere else but figured it myself after wasting a lot of currency last league
Hey Ziz, iam quite new to poe and i know for someone that is so good at it, its hard to get into the eyes of a newbie, but some things you didn't explain: - Where do they drop? - Where to farm best? - Do i or the mobs need to be lvl 75 to drop a 75 ability? - How do you actually reroll a clusterjewel? With my first char I am following your whirlwind build and that has clusterjewels and i just reached the end and actually have no clue how to get the right one :D
They drop from delirium, so any map with a delirium will give them equally. The higher the tier of the map the higher item level they will be, tied to mob level. You can't reroll a cluster jewel, they drop with a specific type and will keep that type, unless you do the 5 to 1 vendor recipe as shown in the video. As for getting them, purchasing from trade is the easiest option (watch the video for learning how to roll them).
minions has a strategi where you use 12 passive ilvl 84 to get 35% effect and 3% attack speed and life / es, makes for very strong small passive points.
This is super helpful but far far more complex then i was hoping, i think it'll still be a while yet before i can switch my SRS to the cluster tree at this rate. But something to start working on. I guess i need to get the clusters i need before swapping my tree over or else there isn't much point yet.
Actually forget all this crafting, it seems people are actually selling ones i need for like 30-40c and i have like 1k C saved up so far. i didn't think people would be selling clusters i needed but the search function helped me a ton. thanks.

Fastest way that I use to sreach clusters is you write "small p" click random added stat like int then you click on first cluster filter by item stats and you got all modifiers that you want and you can change them C:
2-3 Exalts? No there are some far more expensive than that. If you can roll +10HP +35% effectiveness of small passives +3%extra damage and either a good notable or another stat someone needs on on a popular jewel base it's going to go for more than 2 ex I guarantee it. Another thing to consider is people need 2x the amount of medium cluster jewels compared to large ones so a well rolled medium cluster jewel can be as pricy or worse than a large one despite it having less talent points. Another thing to consider when picking a large cluster jewel you should specifically go for one with an increased effectiveness of small passives because it'll have a lot of them, (it can roll as +25% or +35%) and you don't want any notables in most cases because a notable takes up one of your prefix/suffix slots that you could have rolled a bonus to all of your small passives. Take for example a common 2% damage roll. Over 8 talent points that's 16% increased damage which is better than half as good as a notable by itself, not to mention that a notable would take space where you would have had a small passive so you could be sacrificing all total something like 12% cold damage+16% damage+ 2-3% damage + 4% chaos resist + another 2 stats you want maybe 2 to all stats 10 to hp or ES Some dex or INT for your build or 1 stat and having your small passives on the cluster multipied buy 1.25-1.35x. Notable passives suck on large cluster jewels, don't do it, you are gimping yourself.
Is this the most complicated game ever? Holy moly so many systems to learn as a new player. Even searching for items to trade on the website is difficult. My searches often yield no results, and I'm guessing it's because the item is not able to roll the affixes I'm looking for, which leads me to question why can I even search for such an item in the first place?!

What about position on the Skills inside a Cluster Jewel? For example I want Blanketed Snow and Vengeful commander + a random Skill, with a 8 passive cluster Large Jewel That will make me only need to use 5 points to reach Blanketed Snow, Vengeful commander and both Jewel slots. I know about this specific Jewel only. but is there like a rule how that works?
My BIG problem with POE is I always hit a wall after finishing the main game with my character dying to quick. I know it shouldn't be complicated and I get that I need to build my health pool around my gear but damn. I haven't used trade market yet though, on PC, but I think I'm going to have too. My health is currently at 3k on a lightning elemental mage with base damage at 2400. I know that's not even close to good enough. Sigh..
i like path of exile, i play it with my wife. however when we get to like level 88 ish... our progress drops to zero. searching for these end game items is very hard when you have no idea what even exists.
88ish is a good spot to stop with any build. If you want to get after that, you'll have to drop some investment on on the build. I'm playing a toxic rain raider atm. Spend only 10c. I'm 90. I know the build can't go further unless i spend some exalts and do some research. It's weird, but understandable. It can't go further because it gets one shot. I am trying to preserve my sanity.
Probably won't get a reply since this vid's 6 months old, but i can't get a straight answer from searching online. I'm new to Path Of Exile, and my first character is a Marauder. I just recently got a Large Cluster Jewel but when i finally levelled up enough to reach the jewel slot type it describes in its info, i couldn't socket it. Have i done something wrong or is it bugged? Why can't i socket the gem in the slot-type it wants to be socketed to?

Depends on the build. Some builds don't benefit from any if the notables so shouldn't use any, and some high budget aurastackers don't bother with the main tree and use 4+ large clusters.
I have some jewels but they have no level and aren't like that. It says to put them in the same slots but for some reason I can't? I want to use 15% sword damage 1

I know your in Hardcore Trade but when discussing prices can you please make it very clear you are quoting from HCT and not SCT.. your first price in this video just says "70c", a bit further in the video you clarify that is is hardcore Trade.... SCT will have very different prices. love you content, love the YT vids but on this one, I personally believe you missed the mark.

I think you should reformat guides "for dummies". Technically, I was able to find the information I came here for, but it was poorly organized. Perhaps do an outline of your video. Otherwise, this isn't a guide for dummies. It's a guide for folks somewhat familiar with this game.
This literally explains nothing about the most basic concepts about this. As a true beginner, this explanation is literally worse than the in-game text.

I think also you can look at prefix, the prefixes will be on the left and right and suffix notable should be in the back

They drop from delirium monsters, so you need to either find a delirium mirror in a map, run delirious map, or run simulacrum.

It is an absolute nightmare to roll a perfect cluster jewel. It already starts with knowing wtf would be a perfect cluster jewel for you...
