Love the busa, but the H2 is an absolute monster. 245 horse straight from the factory... great race!
No...245hp flashed and tuned...bone stock they make similar to busa like 170wheel...both bikes are bad ass and have tons of potential. Busa has ability to always make more power than H2 w turbskis and unlimited motor parts available. Up to 350hp area the H2 is same or a bit quicker, super big boy power above that no H2s pose a threat to the Busas making 450-600

Not sure..I think the busa was catching on top end each time. Looks like the trap speeds were much better. The ninja has at least 6" on the swingarm length which makes the start much much easier. Can launch at a much higher RPM.

20 years ago we had guys running these numbers WITHOUT turbo or superchargers. Just swingarms, exhaust, strapped down front and nos (my 1999 gsxr 600 was mid 10s and I had 1/3 the HP)

The fact that Busa is from older generation can hold a candle from H2 is shows what an amazing Busa is and also busa didn't use the extended arm. Both are great bikes tho. When it comes to motorcycles with that much power you cant cheat physics, the longer wheelbase will always win because you can put more power in the ground without lifting the front wheels. Now, take both those bikes, the H2 and the Busa and put it in a track to see who wins.... I love the Hayabusa, but the H2 is just better 👌🏼
@@Blinkin97 I had not driven for 6 years after I sold my 125cc bike, drove few times with a custom, then my father bought Hayabusa. He has had 4 Hayabusas now, he has tried other bikes but he said there's nothing like it, so he just buys another after a while. Busa was 2nd big bike Ive driven, its such a great ride I honestly dont know how I can buy any other now either.
If the Busa got the same launch, it would win every run. It virtually catches the H2 at the line.
The H2 just had really good starts, if you noticed the Busa was right on his ass and only lost by .05 seconds but was behind by quite a bit at the beginning

It's all in the swing arm. Busa couldn't leave as hard but was trapping a faster mph than the h2
I owned 01 built stretched Busa. Good thing that bad azz H2 was stretched or it wouldn't been close lol. Never thought see the day when a Busa get smoked. Awesome bike H2s. Still love Busas and always will even though I ride a 2018 R1 today. Good video and thx 4 sharing!

I think the speed is limited by the body and not the engine
Did you miss the two first races? H2 was in the 6 second range compared to the Busa 8. 2 seconds is a long time in a race.

😂 It did kind of look like it was a 6 second pass but it wasn't, it was an 8 second pass but one of the light bars on the 8 was out a little which did make it look like a 6. The announcer even said it was a 8.79 I think. The 6 second pass would have been awesome but that bike on that set up isn't capable of a 6 second pass. It's a monster though that's for sure.

It’s Kawasaki’s time to look stupid with those Florida swing arms. It’s a stupid idea. When you can no longer ride your bike around the canyons like a racer instead becoming a dyno on a drag strip. The Busa has been a one trick pony and I was pleasantly shocked to see anyone care to chase it. The H2 and H2R are both at least beautiful machines and the supercharger adds some much appreciated differentiation yet again. I’m actually shocked at Busa’s still getting around let alone being the status quo.

H2 has that capacity which even the front curb weight of bike cannot handle. Even without the swing arm H2 has alot alot power . Just in 1st clip rider seems bit cautious and trying to get control over the beast H2 , it takes no time for it to dust Hayabusa. Respect for both bikes ❤️ but H2 has its own throne
