Great first impressions! I would add the following: 1. It's a huge attention getter! 2. It gets terrific mileage (mine gets 100 mpg on average) 3. It can carry two bags of groceries on the floorboard -- and another one under the seat.
It's actually both a moped and a scooter by Design and classification according to Honda it is a scooter but given the legal terms depending on where you live someplace has classified as a moped other places classify it as a scooter.
Mopeds have pedals just like a bicycle. The pedals are used to start a moped. Scooters do not have pedals and they start on the button or with a kick starter like a motorcycle.
My first impressions of seeing it back when it first came out was that it looked rugged and industrial... years later I bought one and I love it, sure its not fast but its still fun to ride
Thanks so much for all the Ruckus reviews. I've been considering buying one for a year now. You make is sound so fun and you're so positive and enthusiastic. It's very informative and entertaining. I really appreciate your opinion.
Maybe not a true off road bike, but I live on a dirt and gravel road and my Ruckus handles that so much better than my motorcycle. It ain't gonna shine on a deep sandy hill, but the low center of gravity allows me to fly on these unimproved roads around here with out white knuckles. Also a true moped has both manual pedals and a motor so this is a scooter not a moped.
I got myself a Ruckus back in August of this year, a red 2009. I don’t think I’ve ever been stopped more than riding this thing around, everyone likes to ask about it. I know the key might make you think its safe to keep parked out somewhere, but getting a thick chain lock is perfect little extra protection.
Utilitarian is another good descriptive word to describe this great piece of equipment. I kept wanting to say that for you as you were searching for terms/words that describe the look. Boxy, heavy, military, metal were all very accurate words tho! Keep up the good work.
I agree, great word to add for my next video, build for simplicity rather than looks but people like us love that look. Thanks a lot for the comment, have a great day!

It's 3.4 horsepower 3.8 foot pounds of torque.
Would love to have one of that

Actually, I’m surprised you didn’t add different colors other than black or black/white with red trim...might add personality to the bike.
After seeing the cool 2022 colors I have been thinking about re painting some parts for sure!

I really like this ruckus bike but quick question I am just 5ft will I be able to placing my foot on the ground
Yes
I'm 5'3" and I reach pretty well. Wouldn't want it any taller tho.
Nice scooter, it reminds me of a mini bike but better.
