I love how he completely made up the accent for this movie. This reaction also triggered me to google Bronson Pinchot since I remember him from Perfect Strangers and wow, now a body builder? Also wild to see Damon Wayans in that early role giving Axel the free bananas.
I love Eddie Murphy. I grew up with him on SNL and movies like this one, Trading Places, Coming To America, 48 Hrs... But he did a couple movies a few years later that are very underrated, but also very, very funny. Bowfinger (1999), written by and also starring Steve Martin, who is a genius, and Showtime (2002), with Robert DeNiro.
I even liked his recent Xmas movie he did for Prime. In addition to Bowfinger, he’s also really good in Dreamgirls. There was even talk of an Oscar nom.
Too bad the music got mostly cut but understandable...The music is like a character in the movie. Also, now you have to watch the highly entertaining Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid to find out what Rosewood was talking about!
Serge is my favourite ♥ Lemon Twist!
Don't be stupid...

@@Divamarja_CA Yes!! He was great in Dreamgirls! Great movie 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I love "Beverly Hills Cop"! The music brings back so many memories.
Eddie as a cop is a legend.
John Ashton, Det Taggart, just died last month. Also worth checking him out in Midnight Run!
Hard to believe he’s just in his early 20s here!

Yes, Eddie was 23 when this was released. He certainly looks older :)
An incredible talent.

I would've loved to keep thenmusic in, but most likely you know how copyright works on UA-cam.
The sequels are not as good, in fact I kinda hate them all.
Really? Oh, crap... Well, I'll give them a try, at least the second one...
