Lambert Airport may get a massive makeover

St. Louis Lambert International Airport may be in for a massive makeover, and airport officials are encouraging the public to provide feedback during an open house on May 5.

Fees at Lambert are already high so they can work down the debt incurred from the massive W-1W boondoggle. Lambert will never be an international airport on par with its larger neighbors, so why even try?

DO IT. We've got the runways obviously. We could become a regional hub again, for someone. (other than Southwest) St. Louis area still has three million people, and half the cost of living of many major cities - there's a LOT of potential here for regrowth, people.

My last trip to Boeing for a meeting in late 2019 it looked run down and not very inviting. That is saying something since I was coming from LA and LAX is a zoo. KCI is opening a huge new terminal soon and that will erode some of St Louis's advantages.
