So glad that you like the Creative Detailer tool Jennifer! I swear by it for removing hot foiled muck ups but have learned today that it is great for removing mis-stamping - thank you! :)
I made my own stamp positioner with a thick centering T ruler I already have and a clear sheet. I knew there had to be a way to position wooden block stamps correctly and this is it. Brilliant!
I would like the bags and the silicone mat to come in 12x12 sizes since I scrapbook on 12x12 pages. There are several tools that I would like to get because of this video, esp the eraser tool.
Thank you Jennifer for going thru the initial stages for us in trying out products. You help make our lives sooooo much easier to get our cards made with less equipment troubles.
I ALWAYS learn things from your videos, thank you so much. For your viewers who use colored pencils to color with, that battery-powered eraser is wonderful--in classes I've taken the instructors have had us use them to add highlights (by lightly erasing some of the color we've put down), as well as clean up boo-boos. It's especially wonderful when you're trying to get a curved highlight, like on cherries, across a nose (think Rudolph), etc. Thank you again!
I watched this 3 months ago and had doubts about the effectiveness of the detailer tool. My local Ben Franklin just closed it doors, and I found a battery operated eraser on close out. I figured I'd never see a better deal, even though I wasn't convinced it was something I needed. It works great, especially on stray embossing flecks! Trust Jennifer, she won't steer you wrong!
Everything that's old is new. I'm a librarian and when I worked in cataloging in the 60's and 70's we used electric erasers to correct typos on catalog cards.
I have 2 of the Kourtney (Scrapbook n Memories -Fawnlawn) rulers.I used black ink to change the measurement color since I was having trouble seeing the numbers on light colored cardstock on 1 and then left the second one white for when I use dark cardstock. Kourtney is the one that told me how to do it and these are my "go to" rulers now! Love them and YES they are affordable and very good quality!
Hi Jennifer! I always look forward to your videos about your faves or new crafting products that you recommend or think we might like! The Couture Creative detailing tool seems like the next purchase on my list. I need a new pair of sissors too! I’m going to look into the new haberdashery sissors he’s released too! Thank you for the demonstration of these new products today! Take care! ~ Katz
Great video I love the waffle flower mat my favorite thing about it is that it's amazing for reverse image stamping. I've always had trouble with it and avoided it but it works fab just stamp your image on it and rub your paper over the top and the results are perfect!
Even farther back. I worked at Interlochen Music Camp. We used electric erasers to erase the markings on scores that tell the violins to move up or down! That was 1972.!
Hey Jennifer...I always look forward with respect to your thoughts regarding what supplies/tools are helpful, as I'm sure all of us can agree that we hold you in such high regard, not only as a crafter but also because of your kindness and generous nature. For me personally, your advice is incredibly important to me as I do the majority of shopping online so unfortunately, I'm unable to physically 'inspect' the product before purchasing (I am homebound because of health issues). You have saved me many times from purchasing products that are either ineffective or low quality and that means a lot to me so I'm sending you a huge THANK YOU!
Hi Jennifer 👋 thank you so much for explaining all the nifty tools you use I fell in love with the battery rubber so super cool 👌 all the best Lin in South Wales uk x
I would never have known there was such a thing as the Detailer Tool, it’s brilliant! I’ve redone so many things simply because of a finger or thumbprint🤦♀️ Thanks for sharing your newly found treasures!
I love those bags at the end of the video. That's what citrus twist uses for their kits. I use them for storage of different things. It's so nice so organizing
For once....I actually have something on your list BEFORE I watched your video. I love the Water Media Mat. I do some water coloring, and it's nice to have those little square spaces for a variety of colors. It does stain a bit, but that just says it's loved. Thanks, Jennifer! Love your videos.
I was surprised to see a few things I didn't know about since one of my main hobbies is watching tons of videos! Adding the ruler, scissors and eraser to my list. The mat is already on there. Oh, and I like those bags. Better just get it all.
Thank you so much for yet another wonderfully informative video! You do such a wonderful job of showing so many things and how they work. I absolutely love the zippered bags but I get mine for free with my Pink and Main subscription box each month.
Jennifer, just happened to come across this while looking foe the SSS star burst rubber stamp. Fantastic products, will be getting a few very soon. Tfs. Blessings.
Seldom do I see a products list video where I think I need EVERYTHING! This one hits it right on the mark. I think I'll just forward this video to anyone who asks for my Christmas wish list. Also, the electric eraser is good to use with colored pencils for making highlights.
Oh my! Loving them all. I always was unhappy with the serrated blades on the old style Tim Holtz scissors so I'm very excited to have a new version available.
That detailer is at the very top of my list! Will absolutely pre-order NOW!!!! Thank you for informing me months ago about the sand eraser on the misplaced 😱 foil. Has saved the day for me. Now this detailer will be amazing!
Hi Jennifer I had forgotten about this video, the Waffle Flower mat will be on my shopping list next week. I love colour blending and its so annoying when you have to hold the paper. This is a must I live in Wales GB so it will be ebay I get it from. Thank You Hugs xxxx Wendy
Appreciate the video Jennifer. Always try to follow products and their usage. Wonder if anyone has the problem though that I have had with the Purple tape sticking to my cards and tearing them when removing it? I'd hoped that maybe they had changed the stickiness a bit with the new thinner option. I've actually moved on to another product.
Thank you for introducing us to some of the new products that many of us were not aware of. I have taken your recommendations and also fell in love with them! I purchased the Tim Holtz new scissors and LOVE them! I will be picking up this Lawn Fawn ruler; I'm one of those having trouble remembering which mark is which...
Thank you for another great video... It was great to see some new tools I hadn't seen.. Your tips are always on point and so helpful.. have a blessed day..
Yup, just now watching this video from a year ago! Don't know how I missed it. I just wanted to mention that the Avery Elle bags are GREAT make-up travel bags - not in 2020, of course. Have a wonderful day!!!
Thanks so much for share your experiences with these products. To be honest I bought many things because you recommended them in the past and I trust in your opinion. I bought the Waffle Flower Mat a few weeks ago and I totally agree with you, it's awesome! It's nit a secret that Watercolors are my favorite medium and this mat is perfect for this, also for ink blending and ink smooshing. I will check out some other products you introduce here. Once again, thank you! 😃👍❤️
Where have you been? 😁. The battery eraser has been available here in England for ever since I can remember. It is made by Derwent. It is also good for cresting highlights on flowers, leaves, faces etc. Used against an edge such as a ruler or even piece of card; you can create sun rays.
Omgosh i cant tell you how great this video is for me! Ive been searching for a latex free sand eraser without any luck. I already have battery powered erasers I use for drawing. So excited now! Thank you sooo much!
I always use my stamp positioner as insurance...I keep it out, on my craft table so it's handy.....b/4 lifting my inked stamp off of the paper, I align the positioner to the stamp, and hold the positioner in place while I lift the stamp to see if I got a fully inked image. If I did not, it's a simple matter or reinking the stamp and repeating...no need to stamp the plastic placement sheet, which saves a step. The trick is to align the positioner b/4 you lift that stamp. If you lift it and then discover the image needs more ink, you'll have to ink up the plastic sheet and that means another step b/c you'll have to clean it. I like to eliminate steps when I can to save work and time.
You are remarkable in always sharing great tips and ideas, aside for your remarkable talent. I love watching all of your videos and your voice is so soothing one tends to be drawn in. Thank You, Jennifer, for YOU!
Very helpful, all though I craft only in LEATHER you showed me a few new ways 2 do things and even Tools I can use from your craft. I am a Leather Smith and also Teach LEATHER CRAFT, again Thank You, & you & yours have A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND PLEASE A SAFE NEW YEAR, GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃
I loved seeing this video...IN JULY! I really trust the reviews you do of products so having to wait until the Fall for your "Favorite crafty things" series is awful! lol Thanks for giving us some things to check out and get us through untl the big Fall reviews come out. :)
@@jennifermcguireink No worries. They are coming through - it's just taking a long time (about five minutes each) I think it's my connection though. It's storming here and my connection keeps buffering. Thanks so much for replying.
I use Holtz Stamp it up. Miles better than hand blocks. If the stamp doesn't completely print first time you do it again accurately. You can't do that with blocks. I really like the Media mat.
Hi Jennifer love all your videos watching an older one and you used a little gadget for inserting diecuts to make them sticky backed what was this called and is it still available tia
So glad that you like the Creative Detailer tool Jennifer! I swear by it for removing hot foiled muck ups but have learned today that it is great for removing mis-stamping - thank you! :)

I have one of the comfort blocks I can see getting more. That long narrow one is awesome. I like the idea of lining it up with your grid.
I got excited when I saw the Lawn Fawn ruler. I struggle with measurements. That 0 center feature is a game changer for me. Great video!
Many thanks for sharing you're amazing tutorials 👏👏👏💐💐💐💕💕💕

One comment that was missed on Gina K's new acrylic blocks is how light weight they are; I love this. Have ordered the 5 pack and they are great.

We used the electric eraser to do architectural drawings at design school way back in 1998. They are a great little invention.
