We do the same type of thing on travel days. I'll research what areas we'll be driving through and look for kid friendly things to stop at. Playgrounds, kid friendly museums, parks, maybe kid friendly events. We also travel with our pup so we frequent dog parks so she can get her energy out and have some social time as well. I got myself a jet boil for morning coffee. Quick and easy :)
Great one guys! We finally had enough internet to watch our favorite UA-cam family. I love all the Ashley randomness as well. And now I’m in trouble for watching it without Todd.
I am soooo much a coffee first thing in the morning person. Even on our little day trips around town, I try to break up the travel part of the day for my 9 year old daughter. It's for me too! We take a break, stretch our legs, and have a snack and most half way points. Great idea to find a kid friendly spot like a zoo or museum to spend a few hours to blow off steam. Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us. Safe travels.
We are only part-timers, but plan to do a three-month road trip at some point. We have a Montana HC 40 foot fifth wheel and plan to do some boon-docking in between destinations, but we can't even get into our living/kitchen area without opening a slide as they come smack together and also couldn't access anything in the kitchen without it open. I have a large/slide for my office sewing room as well that I probably could leave in (center bunk room) and the bedroom slide is against the dresser when it, but could probably manage not opening that by climbing across the bed. I guess this is something to consider. We haven't gone RVing more than 10 days at a time, so if we ever get to do this, it will be an adventure! Thanks for the info.
Next time you come through Albuquerque, check out the aquarium and botanical gardens. We have a fantastic aquarium with a great shark tank! Your B reel on the travel humor was great! But I really hope you didn’t actually go from AZ, then Edgewood, then double back to Albuquerque 😉
If you are ever near Phoenix I live south of there (maricopa AZ), i live near a Walmart that allows overnight campers and ya’ll could use my laundry, water trampoline etc!! Love your channel! We lived in our trailer in San Diego while we were stationed there. Safe travels.
Great video. I prefer to break up the long travel days like you did. My husband likes to just drive straight through for 8 to 12 hours. It's definitely not my favorite thing to do, especially with a kid and me being pregnant. I agree with being frugal and staying at the free spots while on long travels. Unfortunately something we didn't realize when we purchased our trailer is that our slide out has to be out to use the heater. And when we were in Southern Colorado and New Mexico it was in the low 40's to upper 30's overnight with no heater.... Um, yeah.... Makes me one grumpy Mama. Luckily that only happened a couple times. I recommend the french press, then again I'm prefer french press and used them for years at home before we decided to travel. It didn't take long before my husband realized the percolator coffee pot he insisted on getting was not the wisest choice. But hot spiced apple cider made due (temporarily) on those cold mornings. Such a learning experience it has been. Lol
Impressed you still have that Civil shirt James!
Our family likes the Albuquerque Zoo. We have been there quite a few times.

Loved this video! Enjoyed the "behind the scenes" humor of Ashley. We plan to launch January 2020!

This is true - Love, Papa Todd

I like to find places to sleep and break up the day. Great video looks like a fun zoo
I never noticed in intro when Ashley puts on sold sign, there is a body on ground behind trailer .
