Nice plane! I went Open Source about 10 years ago with Taranis and then Radiomaster TX16S the last 3 years. Unbelievable what you can do for a couple hundred bucks. Literally anything you can think of, you can do. Fly ANY RX protocol too. Having said that, I still have and use an original DX8 sometimes! 😁
I upgraded from NX10 to FRsky RS20 and it gets a range of almost 6km. I know a lot doesn’t need that range, but also with dual 2.4 bands and 900 MHz it’s amazing and more safe for the expensive models. Also possible to use with spektrum Rx with a module.
The only mark FMS missed on this plane is the 3 rock hard black donuts they installed under the wheel pants. i personally installed 3 soft foam ones to do away with the horrible sounding wheels
That plane appeals to me but the blinking nav lights bug the heck out of me. Take a look at the 69" PNP balsa model from Seagull for $550, that thing is sweet, and I've paid almost that much for a foam plane before.
I like to have a IX14 have to wait for my NX10se to quit on me lol gave you a shout out on my channel sorry i had camera shock not as good as you do but I just do it for fun recording flights 😊
Just had to break out the GoPro and go fly this beauty on my new IX14.
New transmitter looks nice, what a great plane the cessna is, nice flying and great landings....jeff.
Thanks, great plane great RX!!
What a good looking plane! It flies pretty smooth. Nice upgraded transmitter! It’s an investment. I still fly with my DX8 Gen2.
Thanks for sharing And that is a solid rx also.

Well if I were to start over I would go with either radio master of the new frysky.

If I were to start over I more than likely go that route.

I agree , sounds like a tin can being dropped down the stairs. I don't mind it only because I am so used to it.
@@FatGuyFliesRC if it was a nitro plane you wouldnt even notice it Lol but its nails on a chalkboard to my ears

Well with what I have on order and recent plans I am just tapped out on funds. Trust me it is on my radar!!!
