I think the only thing i dislike, is the "infinite" combo and the overpowered flying knee, except that, the games is a giant gem.
This game was a total hit here in Mexico in the 80's, I remember an arcade place in front of the main supermarket in my town, so crowded you had to wait long for people to move just to watch it being played, because if you wanted to, you practically needed to book for it, at least a dozen guys were in line for it at any time.
I've just downloaded it, but it say "no mods"

We adventurely rigged the Arcade game where the quarters would go and had free games forever until this lil white boy got mad because you can hit your team mate and we would beat his ass everytime we let him play. He punched me and tried to run to his father and I ran up and gave him a 2 piece infront of his racsit as father. So I won twice.. Childhood memories 😊

FANTASTIC! I played this game when first came out in the arcades in the 80s, and this fan remade its really awesome, double dragon I and II together with powerfull combos and mobility....
Didn't know the 'Reloaded Version' until I watched this, looks fun and I wish knew this version back in my childhood :)

Since I was a kid early 80's double dragons series are the best games I ever played I'm 42 now and I'm still playing lots of versions of DD ! The only thing looks to easy same uppercuts and knee kicks lol ! But love the music

Este juego cualquiera lo puede pasar, al heroe le dieron super habilidades pero a los enemigos no, hubieras hecho tambien al enemigo mucho mas hábil como en mis tiempos en los de los 80s terminar el juego si te llevaba un buen de tiempo hoy dia con eso es muy facil

Seriously, this and Double Dragon Legacy are the only two new DD games that are worth playing. A proper remake and a proper sequel. The rest are trash.

Nah, the first version of this (on my channel) is the best version because it was done before Magggas started adding all these stupid over the top moves to it including the naff running move and other characters, the version I uploaded felt like a real DD arcade game whereas the versions of this that followed (including this) started to look and feel less like the original game because of all the added sillyness which is the reason I've kept my download of it and not downloaded any update, the first version is so much better, if it ain't broke don't fix it but Magggas still did :-( ,...still, each to their own, just my 2 cents.

I love these old beat em ups, and it’s because they taught us that bad people come in all shapes and sizes and if they beat up, kidnapped, tortured and killed someone that you loved just because they wanted to, it was ok for you to go out and kick their asses, despite what race or gender they were.
That is our mindset, we just want to be left alone and do our own thing and not bother anyone around us but, if you mess with us or anyone that we love, we don’t care who you are and what you do, we are coming to get our revenge and kick asses that need to be kicked.
And they said video games aren’t art..
If a version like this had existed in my country at that time, I would have been an expert in this arcade.

I am 43 years old. This game reminded me of my childhood. My mother used to go outside and beat me in the video game shop. Because she is my mother, she was very thoughtful for my upbringing at that time. ۔
Assault isn't really good parenting, bestowing your knowledge is but ok eg i had to deal with racism/bullying from EVERYONE growing up from pre school (kindergarten) to now (i'm 41) high school we had a new principal who wanted to change everything as a means to make the school better, near a corner shop we had video games, this NEW principal thought it was more becoming of us to make me stop playing despite i had already paid, abolishing cool sports eg bowling for interstate sport. Did i get smarter? did the racism bullying stop? no!

Yup considering the creator of this game yanked all the downloads down. Someone made a comment and he got butthurt and stopped working on it. Shame because it's amazing. I have about 3 versions of the game. Highly recommend if you can find a place to download it.
About the closest you can get is "Double Dragon Advance" for the GBA. The moves and everything are the same; but graphical and stage layouts are different
