In my case, some of the corn kernels burned.

You should turn it off as soon as the popping sound stops.
or don't wait long🙂

@ When it stops making sounds I immediately turn it off, but still a certain part of the grain (small) is slightly burned. I think I am making the mistake of using this black cover.
