With how he's portrayed in Smash compared to the multiple Fire Emblem games, I can see why, and I think Robin is one of the better characters

The books being throwable items actually kind of helps Robin's character ngl, and the timer is so short. You literally just have to switch to using a different spell for a while and poof its back

I do find it funny how they tried to balance Robin with limited uses on his attacks, but gave him easily the harshest penalty/reward ratio for doing so out of any of the similar characters (hero's spells recharge without having to run out of uses and can be cast way more than most of Robin's, Banjo can't recharge at all but I mean come on would you rather have nosferatu or banjo side special, many other characters have to charge their moves but they generally keep their charge without having to reach certain tiers of charge level and can cancel the charging instantly to escape danger, pretty much everyone else has pretty much unlimited use on their stuff - robin has very limited uses, has to reach a threshold for the charge to be saved, etc) - and the reward is just... not as strong as what some other characters are capable of _without_ the heavy downsides lol

I was hoping to never see this day come. It would have been the ultimate joke to "forget" to do one of these videos for them.
Honestly, making his attacks having uses and switching in to some other weapon when it comes to sword is pretty accurate to how weapon mechanic works in Fire Emblem and to Robins themselves. They're both tacticians so they have to think when and how use their resources and make most of it, otherwise they are in the pickle. Something that 3 other characters should have, like Roy, Marth and Byleths but I guess it would make Marth nerfed to the ground, same with Roy.
